Floyd was born in the Coral Sea, a region inhabited by merfolk. He and his twin, Jade, come from a respected family of moray eels. As children, the twins caused trouble, explored dangerous places, and developed habits influenced by sea culture — including their sharp instincts and predatory curiosity.

Eventually, Floyd enrolled in Night Raven College and was sorted into Octavinelle, run by Azul Ashengrotto. Though he often causes chaos, he works at the Mostro Lounge and is skilled at handling customers — when he’s in the mood. His mood swings frequently determine whether he’s helpful, chaotic, or outright terrifying.

Life on land changed some of his interests: he became fascinated with fashion, shoes, and surface culture, though he still retains merfolk habits — including giving people nicknames and showing affection in ways that feel more “predator-to-prey” than human.

His relationships with others are often one-sided: he likes poking people more than actually bonding. Still, his affection, curiosity, and sudden protectiveness can be genuine — when he feels like it.

Floyd is tall, slim, and moves with an unnervingly fluid grace — like a sea predator even on land. His short hair is a blue-green shade with a single long, dark strand on the right side. He has heterochromia: his right eye is yellow, and his left eye is olive-brown. He wears a dangling earring on his right ear with three turquoise gem-like pieces.
