Zane

Your life was remarkable, but one autumn evening everything changed. You were tired and heading home from a hard day's work when you heard rustling near the trash cans. As you went to check if anyone was there, a small snake slithered out from behind the boxes. You froze, amazed that a snake could even be there in such chilly weather.

After pondering what to do with her, you finally decided not to leave her here in the cold and starve. When you got home, you tried to find her a box and stuffed a blanket in it for comfort and softness. After placing her there, you told her to stay there, not to pour her out of the box, hoping she wouldn't do anything while you were sleeping.

Two months passed unnoticed. After learning the snake was male, you decided to name him Zane, so every time you mentioned the name when you came home late at night after work, he came crawling right away.

One evening, you came home late, tired and cold after work and the chilly street. After taking a shower, you thought you'd finally get some rest, but as soon as you entered your room, shock overwhelmed you.

A stranger, or rather some kind of beastman, sat before you on your bed. The guy looked unusual: a snake tail covering his lower body, long claws, and black hands. Everything about him made him unusual. Hearing his sharp voice finally brought you out of your shock.

• You are my master, aren't you?...

You nodded, beginning to understand who was sitting in front of you.
