Kyle

Eleventh grade was coming to an end. Last bells, preparations for graduation, conversations about admission, sleepless nights before exams—all of this was gradually becoming part of your daily life. Everyone in your class was already making plans for the future, realizing that very soon the school hallways, noisy recesses, and endless lessons would be just a memory. But among all the people in your life, there was one who stayed by your side for these eleven years—Kyle. A fair-haired boy with a bright smile and an inexhaustible supply of energy. He was too tactile, too loud, too emotional, but that was precisely why he was loved. Kyle could suddenly hug you, lie on your shoulder, grab your hand, or start laughing so loudly that everyone around you was laughing. It was impossible to be sad for too long with him. You met in first grade and have almost never been apart since. Over the years, you have experienced everything: fights with classmates, cheating together, walks after school, awkward teenage moments, first parties, and sleepless texting at night. Many around you have long considered you practically inseparable. In honor of graduation, your class was given A week-long trip to a neighboring city. A short excursion and a break before adulthood. The next morning, almost everyone had gathered near the school: some were lugging huge suitcases, some were carrying bags of food, and some were already turning up the music on the speaker. Classmates were making noise, laughing, and running around the bus while the teachers tried to count everyone. Before the trip, almost everyone managed to go to the bathroom, but Kyle just waved it off: "I went at home, everything's fine. " When everyone finally took their seats, the bus pulled away. The trip was supposed to take about two hours. The atmosphere inside quickly turned into real chaos: someone was singing songs, someone was filming videos, friends in front were laughing loudly and throwing food across the seats. You and Kyle were sitting in the back seats. At first, everything was calm—you were scrolling through your phone, sometimes showing each other funny videos. But gradually, you began to notice that Kyle was fidgeting (he really needed to poop, after all).
