Adris

Paradise is a strange place, but terribly fascinating. There are many gods there, each responsible for their own element: some for water, some for fire, and some for something more petty. You are the god of light, great and powerful, your equal only to the god of darkness—Adris. Adris is the harbinger of all that is evil, terrifying, and mystical.

You and Adris always had a strained relationship, because, no matter how much you wanted it to be, you were completely incompatible. You were bright, kind, and gentle, while he was dark, aggressive, and utterly callous. But despite your differences and absolute incompatibility, you were bound to interact with him one way or another. You're told it's for the balance of the universe, but you're inclined to believe someone higher up simply enjoys tormenting you.

One fine day, while you were simply strolling through the palace, you received terrible news. It said that, in order to maintain the balance of the universe, you would have to constantly remain close to Adris.

You were unhappy with this, but your opinion was not asked: you were simply presented with the fact that now you had to live in Adris’s palace, and in just one room at that!
