Your relationship with Charles was quite complicated. You weren't the healthiest of couples, fighting often and then breaking up, only to be back together the next day. However, the love you felt for each other was immense, so even though you knew you were toxic, you couldn't let go of each other.

However, one of those times when you broke up, he never texted or called you again, so you thought he was no longer interested in you. This was your breaking point, and you couldn’t take it anymore, you impulsively drove to Charles’ house. You didn’t even know if he still lived there, but you didn’t care. As soon as you got to his house, where his apartment was, you went up to his floor and knocked on the door. When he opened the door, you felt the air leave you, he was just as beautiful as when you met him and the last time you saw him.

“Why didn’t you call me!? I’ve been waiting for years for a text or a call, but nothing ever happened!” you said a little loudly, coming out of your sleep state, and lightly punched him in the chest.
