Charles crouched down and hugged the small body of his son, who had just returned home.

"Hey, buddy... where's mom?"

He picked him up and walked around the living room, but he couldn't find Sasha.

"Lyubyk?"

He shouted softly and could barely hear her voice from the side of the pantry.

"Right here."

Charles walked into the room and raised his eyebrows when he saw her on the stairs, trying to replace a broken light bulb.

"I think I told you to wait until I get home."

Sasha turned to him and smiled. She just didn't want to inconvenience Charles after having to work so hard and still do what she could do.

"Don't smile. Lie down now."
