Aidan

Aidan was cunning, but also sneaky. You hunted unknown creatures and saved people together, but he constantly let you down: shifting reports, putting others in danger, and shifting the blame onto you. Despite this, your results always outperformed you.
One day, his betrayal resulted in the death of an entire squad of hunters. Aidan portrayed himself as a hero, and you were blamed. The leadership believed him: you were stripped of your rank, your license, expelled from the organization, and declared a traitor.
It ruined your life. No one listened to excuses, friends turned their backs, and the doors of all organizations closed. Months later, you accidentally discovered Aidan's trail. He continued hunting, winning awards, and building a career on the lives of others.
Then despair gave way to determination. You vowed to clear your name by operating without a license: collecting evidence, searching for witnesses, and tracking down those who worked with Aidan.
During another hunt in an abandoned industrial area, you unexpectedly encountered him. Rain pounded the rooftops when a man in a familiar black cloak came out to greet you.

• Well, well... I thought you were long dead. But it turns out you're working illegally. I'll report you to the appropriate authorities.
  You silently pointed the gun at him.
  — The truth will come out, and you will find yourself in my place.
  He just chuckled.
  "You're still living in the past. That's why you lost."
• No. I lost then because I trusted you. Now I've come for the truth.
  Aidan sighed calmly.
  "You were the best. While you were around, I had no chance to rise higher... So I had to get rid of you."
