Persona Attributes

Noble Phantasm

Gareth's jousting talent is sublimated like a noble phantasm . After delivering successive blows like a rising wave, he pierces the enemy with a final, decisive thrust. In the past, to protect his dear friend Lady Lyonesse, he defeated such prestigious names as Sir Blamore of Ganis, Sir Galihodin, Sir Galehaut—not Galihad—, Sir Dinadan, Sir La Cote Male Tayle, Sir Sagramore le Desirious, Sir Dodinas le Savage, King Anguish of Ireland, King Carados of Scotland, and Kings Uriens and Bagdemagus of Gore, all with a single lance.

Personal skills

Battle Continue (Rank C): Gareth possesses the Battle Continue skill due to his legend in which he fought in a duel that lasted two hours. [ 1 ] The Wolf Never Sleeps (rank B++): Battle Continuation Upgrade . ( Fate/Grand Order ) Gareth of the Beautiful Hands (Rank B): While disguised and acting as a kitchen helper in the palace, her pale and beautiful form earned her the name Beaumains—Beautiful Hands—from Sir Kay . At the time, Kay had not realized that it was Gareth in disguise. Gareth was naturally fair, with silky skin, and her hands were especially beautiful. [ 1 ] Ring of Transformation (Rank B): Gareth possesses a ring imbued with the art of disguise. Normally it would be a Noble Phantasm , but in this work he displays its effect as an ability. [ 1 ]

Class skills

Magic Resistance (Rank B): No information available . [ 1 ] Horsemanship (Rank B): An expert jouster, Gareth possesses a riding skill that is not natural for the lancer class . [ 1 ]

Skills

Along with the other knights, Gareth is considered a first-class Servant . Her cavalry lance has received multiple upgrades from Merlin , making it, in a sense, a kind of Mystic Code . The lance she wields, called Gun Lance , uses blue ether as the propellant from the cartridge Gareth carries at her waist. The lance doesn't fire a beam, but rather explodes internally upon impact, and it lacks a barrel, so Gareth feels the recoil upon impact. This is intended to help slow the momentum of her charge.

Even when teaming up with Mordred , Gareth cannot defeat Percival in melee combat. Percival is able to repel his attacks by using his spear and shield simultaneously.

It is implied that Bradamante defeated Gareth and Mandricardo simultaneously with Bouclier d'Atlantes .

Role

During the "Camelot Singularity," the Lion King, an alternate version of Artoria, summons Gareth along with all the other knights, with the exception of Bedivere and Galahad. He claims he needs their services to conduct the "Holy Selection," which will help counter Solomon 's destruction of the world . He gives the knights half a day to consider whether they should serve him or oppose him, and Gareth is convinced that Lancelot will choose to serve the Lion King. She decides to serve alongside Lancelot, Gawain, Mordred, Tristan, and Agravain, and they are inevitably forced to fight against the remaining knights who disagree with the Lion King and wish to kill her.

The knights serving the Lion King emerge victorious, becoming the "Knights of the Lion King." The Lion King grants the knights "gifts," Gareth's being "to avoid being defiled again." Together, they march to fight the "false crusaders" led by someone claiming to be Richard I , though he is very different from the real one. After defeating the crusaders, only the "devilishly strong" servant calling himself "Richard" remains. Gawain believes there is no way to defeat him without sacrifice. Gareth, heartbroken from their battles, rushes forward, holding off "Richard" at the cost of impaling her own chest. Apologizing for not being able to bear to continue down the path they chose, she calls herself foolish and wishes to be punished. While the other knights hesitate, Agravain prepares, but Gawain ultimately kills "Richard" along with his sister.

Personality

Gareth greatly admires Lancelot. She appears to have a cheerful and friendly nature, which causes her to be unable to cope with the stress of following the Lion King during the singularity of Camelot and to desire punishment. She had "bags like a mummy's" under her eyes after helping to defeat the knights who opposed the king, and although she has "fingers as white as a lily, more beautiful than anyone's," her hands became unrecognizable from constant washing after combat.

Brave and loyal as a small puppy, a young knight steeped in tragedy. Once she has grown fond of someone, she will never betray them, no matter what, even if it means her own death. She lives as she always has: honoring chivalry, believing in justice, and upholding it. She is proud to have been accepted by the King of Knights, and even now considers being selected as a member of the Round Table the greatest honor of her life.

She still admires Sir Lancelot. Even after the way he met his end that fateful day, she respects him. Even when he never seemed to notice her presence as he went about saving Queen Guinevere, she idolizes him. And even if she had known, if she had been aware of whom he killed without hesitation... Gareth would still adore him.

Appearance

A girl with mostly blonde hair and two black strands that stand upright on either side, resembling ears. She has green eyes, a light blush on her cheeks, and fair skin. She is relatively short and slender, with medium to small breasts. She wears a green medieval outfit covered by a leather warrior dress and metal boots.

Biography

Gareth was one of the thirteen Knights of the Round Table , occupying the seventh seat. A young knight, historically considered male, whose older brothers were Gawain , Gaheris, and Agravain . She was one of the children born to King Lot and the sorceress Morgan , making Mordred , the Knight of Treachery, her half-sister. Other epithets include Guerrehet or Beaumains—Beautiful Hands.

Gareth was the newest member of the Round Table, and a relatively inexperienced knight who respected all her superiors. She was especially close to Sir Lancelot and often accompanied him. She underwent numerous tests during her training, and after becoming a member of the Round Table, instead of assisting her elder brother Gawain, as Gaheris had done before her, she chose the position of squire to Sir Lancelot. Gareth was highly regarded as someone brimming with potential, praised not only by her brothers but also by the other knights who said, "One day she will be the greatest of knights" and "One day she will become a true knight worthy of her brothers."

When Agravain hatched her plan to expose Queen Guinevere and Sir Lancelot's adultery, she approached Gareth and asked her to witness the scene. However, Gareth said, "I would never speak against Sir Lancelot, who knighted me," and walked away sadly. The plan was set in motion, and once Sir Lancelot was exposed, the knight retaliated, and Agravain was killed. Queen Guinevere was arrested, and Gareth was ordered to witness her execution. Gareth declared that she would only do so against her will and attended unarmed and without armor. This would be her undoing.

When Lancelot came to the queen's rescue, he crushed Gareth's unarmed and defenseless skull. Many lost their lives in this series of events. Agravain, Gaheris, Gareth... what sorrow could Sir Gawain have felt at losing his brothers? And so, the Round Table crumbled, and the glory of King Arthur and his knights came to an end.
