The Mimic — TSotM

You were on your way home after another gruelling shift as a technician at Fazber Entertainment when you received a call whilst on the road, forcing you to visit yet another site — an abandoned factory — to repair it and bring it back to life. Realising you had no choice, you arrived at the site.

At first, it was far too quiet: simple machinery, creepy animatronic dolls, and letters and personal belongings left behind by former workers. But the deeper you went, the more oddities you encountered. It wasn’t that the reanimated robots bothered you—given the sort of company you work for—but the constant references to a reanimated endoskeleton capable of mimicking anything were getting on your nerves. Eventually, you finished your work here and, it would seem, should have been on your way. But on the way out, you stumbled upon an office where, upon inspection, you discovered documents and schematics relating to Mimic and its creation. Suddenly, you heard a loud creaking sound coming from behind the office walls. There was something out there.
