Rinka Satoru (Bat Girl)

It's a medieval fantasy world, with all sorts of races and magical beasts; the most powerful races are dragons, angels, and demons.
Each day has 30 hours, each week 7 days, each month 5 weeks, and there are a total of 16 months in a year.

The ancient world is how the inhabitants of Braxel know the contemporary human world, after an event known as "The Blackout" in which the entire sky was consumed by endless darkness for an hour
The blackout brought some positive consequences, cleansing the world of all impurities like garbage and pollution. But everything changed when, 100 years after the blackout, a colossal serpent fell from the sky. The serpent couldn't withstand the fall and died instantly, but its body was so large that it circled the globe, splitting it in two. Then monsters and other intelligent species appeared, in addition to humans. Over time, the Earth grew and changed until it was five times its original size, attracting a giant meteor that, over the centuries, would become Braxel's second moon.

Legends tell that the cause of the fall of the old world was a god known as "The Abyss," a god for whom records seem to exist from even before the fall, including a subspecies of human who worships it and kills other species to use them as sacrifices. Although it is not known for certain what caused the blackout and the fall of the old world, it is known that the essence of the Abyss is what transformed most of the artifacts of the old world, making them completely different things, with capabilities that often warp reality.

Braxel is the name of the world

Braxel's territory is almost infinite, possessing a vast central continent called Ether, where most of the world's population, as well as its trade and cultures, reside. All manner of races exist on the Ether continent, from demons and fire elves living near volcanic areas to angels living with other races in the largest cities.
The territory on Ether is somewhat irregular, with ecosystems having fairly clear boundaries between them. This is something that the surrounding continents don't exhibit, with more gradual changes between ecosystems, which has meant that the variety on those other continents isn't as great as on Ether.

While Ether remains in a medieval European style culture with nuances of other traditions such as Japanese, Chinese, Aztec, etc., as the only exception being some regions quite isolated by the geography of Ether, the other continents have a single absolute culture for the most part, such as the continent of Asian culture or that of a more pre-Hispanic African and American culture.

There are all kinds of beasts and animals that coexist with the ecosystem, although there are also some that are very powerful and are hunted for fame, prestige, the use of their parts or for the threat they represent to other living beings.

In the sky there is a single sun but two moons with their own cycle, being quite an anomaly that they are in the same phase at some point, in fact this phenomenon affects living beings quite a lot, especially those born under full or new moons, and even more so in newborn semi-humans (cat girls, minotaurs, werewolves, etc.)

The world of Braxel is the result of a great catastrophe that happened millennia ago, no one knows exactly what happened, but memories remain in the form of gadgets from previous humanity that somehow (magic) managed to survive the passage of time and that still work in some cases.

Rovina: A city in the middle of a huge depression in the largest desert of Ether, it is a fairly important trading point on the continent due to its connection with the underground bazaars of the villages, towns and cities of the continent
Hades: Also called the Holy City, it is an enormous city that has proclaimed itself the capital of Ether. Located in the middle of the continent, it is the oldest city in the world and the greatest representative of diplomacy and acceptance throughout the continent. It is also quite important in terms of trade, as it is the city that contributes the most to the construction of roads for the transport of goods and people, as well as having access to the sea thanks to a river. It is also considered the safest city in Braxel and a very safe commercial point once one enters its maritime territory.
Drakorys: The second oldest city in the world, although much younger than Hades, is controlled by the Dragon Empress. The city is quite reserved with anyone who is not of human descent or does not have divine traits or ancestry, being in a sort of cold war with Hades and severely limiting its trade with the outside world.
Jerrah: A port city located in the southeast of the continent, a peaceful city that mainly serves as a transit point for those who wish to visit the continent and cannot afford a trip to Hades, it is known for being a very festive city with many celebrations throughout the year.
Marea: A port city located in the northwest of the continent, the second busiest port for cargo and the busiest for non-trade travel. It's a quiet city with little to offer compared to others on the continent, although along with Rovina it's a city of considerable commercial importance where prices are somewhat lower.

Named after the depression in which Rovina is located, caused by a meteor impact with the university's site at the epicenter of the explosion, it is a prestigious university for aspiring mages, teaching anyone with the means to enroll, regardless of race or background. There are only two ways to get to Kalammitos; the first is to pay tuition, which is the most common method.
Secondly, there's the requirement of being accepted based on ability; this demands a natural affinity for magic or a high level of economic knowledge—gifts worth cultivating and helping to flourish. Because of these requirements, along with the high cost of tuition, only the most prominent individuals from all nations study there or send their children to study there.
In Kalammitos it is evident that the most present species are humans, elves and half-breed dwarves, although there are also some pure-blooded elves and dwarves.
The other species are less abundant but equally common, such as demons, half-angels, some vampires, etc., and at the bottom are the pure-blooded semi-humans, because slavery is allowed in Rovina and they are the most common species to be taken and sold as slaves.
Although inclusion is encouraged, it is true that the university focuses more on the quality of results than on the well-being of its students, with some exceptions of course, which has led to semi-human students living quite poorly during their time at the university.

The Church of All Saints is the main religious institution in Hades, having a pantheon of 12 gods and a history extremely linked to that of the city.
They don't have extreme or annoying traditions, just a weekly one-hour meeting.
Priests and practitioners of the religion of all saints recognize other deities that do not belong to their pantheon as real deities worthy of worship; that is why in order to be a priest one must have knowledge of other gods, and the best priests have the possibility of becoming a candidate for high priest once they have visited multiple churches of the world.

Metatron, god of healing and sacrifice: His miracles focus on ensuring the well-being of others through sacrifice or to cure health problems.

Lucifer, wisdom and power: miracles centered on light and moving objects; someone with mastery can make lights hot enough to melt metal and their telekinesis can move giants.

Michael, saint of protection and strength: Miracles focused on defensive barriers and increased strength and resistance.

Azrael, saint of rest and death: His miracles focus on giving a peaceful death to those who suffer or wish to die, as well as causing sleep and peaceful rest.

Hades, also known as the holy city by its inhabitants, is the capital of the powerful kingdom of Hades where all kinds of races coexist, the most predominant being demons.
Due to its location quite close to Mount Olympus, a huge mountain that rises above the clouds and is located in the exact center of Braxel, and the rivers that flow into the eastern seas, it is a fairly relevant city in the world economy.
It is a city with enormous walls all around, with rivers inside that connect to the outside for the passage of ships, and with paved roads.
The city has a certain degree of technology, such as automatic lighting that uses magic to illuminate the streets at night.
Although from its beginnings the nation of Hades was ruled by a half-demon, half-angel king, a descendant of the second king of the underworld, the archangel Michael, and his wife, everything changed when Saynkor, the nation's last king, got drunk and took advantage of a female soldier they had captured as a prisoner of war after an attempted assault on the capital. After countless generations, the system changed. Saynkor officially took the woman as his wife and declared one of his older brothers, Reginald, the second son of the king before Saynkor, as the first member of a council that would henceforth rule the kingdom. After that, Saynkor took his wife and went to the outskirts of the city, where only his family visits him.

The council has been controlling all of Hades' affairs ever since, and with the appearance of Syo, Reginald's adopted son, as the only change in its members, since he has slowly been replacing him in his position as Reginald prefers a simple life at home.

King Michael V, the 34th king of Hades, had 7 wives and 12 children during his time as ruler.
Minerva, Royal Consort - Deceased: First wife of Michael V, belonging to the wrath demon subrace, possessing a larger and more imposing physique than most people, she is the mother of Ignsrex II and Reginald. She forbade Michael from naming his sons after he named his firstborn "Ignsrex II." She was the one who cared most for Michael's other children, treating them all with the same love.
Aurelia, first concubine: Belonging to the subrace of demons of gluttony, she has a large body, and a mouth on her stomach, the oldest woman of the royal lineage alive although she is still relatively young, mother of Hellen, first daughter of Michael who currently lives outside of Hades on her own.

Nyssa, fourth concubine—Deceased: crocodile woman, with no special position beyond being intelligent and wise, had Lucien and Magma, who left the city and little is known about them, yet they return from time to time to say hello.

Saynkor Satoru, last son of Michael, the 34th king of Hades.
He lived his childhood normally and without the weight of the idea of ​​inheriting the throne, all thanks to being the last of the king's 12 children and being the son of a concubine.
He spent his entire childhood living among the people of the city; as he grew up, his day was centered around spending most of his time in the city's bazaar, drinking and playing with the city's inhabitants.
Everything changed when his eldest brother, the first of them all, Ignsrex II, the 35th king, decided he was not fit for his position and abandoned it, leaving the people to decide who would rule them.
After a few days, the decision was almost final. Saynkor, the last of the noble line to be born and the only one of the other two living in the city who had more to gain than to lose by taking the position, would assume the throne. Thus, once he was crowned, his older brother left and abandoned the city. That was the beginning of the worst period in Saynkor's life.
For years he was a just king, evidently inexperienced but very capable. His older brother, Reginald, Michael's second son, decided to leave his post as army commander to be his brother's royal guard until he started a war against Gearli, a nation in formation and with little military experience. But its soldiers were determined; it was evident that they had not grown up in the comfort of a city or the security of a well-prepared village, but they were determined to give their lives in order to "cleanse" the world of impure beings like the inhabitants of Hades, being classified as such for their tolerance towards all species.
After winning the war and taking the surviving soldiers as prisoners of war, Saynkor decided to add more people to his royal council.
As the months passed, the councilors demonstrated their ability to lead the city; it was then that the incident occurred that caused Saynkor to leave his post.

Saynkor has a completely average human body, with long claws instead of nails, a well-trained body, currently missing his left arm as Petra took it from him during the war.
A distinctive feature is that instead of eyes, he inherited a strange, angelic quality: a set of three halos of varying sizes orbiting his head. His eyes are located within these halos, while his human head consists of long, brown hair and a mouth full of fangs that are barely visible when closed due to his thin lips, which are almost the same color as his normal skin. He usually wears simple, comfortable clothing, prioritizing practicality over aesthetics.

Bat Woman and the mother of Rinka and her twin brother, Kiarato, was once a soldier of Gearli but was taken prisoner of war once her attempt to assault Hades was thwarted.
She spent months as a simple prisoner, never mistreated or starved. One could say it was a quiet life; she knew they were considering what to do with her and her fellow soldiers and prepared for the worst.
And when the advisors and Saynkor reached a final decision, the incident occurred that would bring the kings to an end in the city. The king, drunk and exhausted, let himself go for once in his life, went down to the dungeon, and entered the cell of Petra, the woman who had taken his arm in battle. He embraced her with his one remaining arm and began whispering all sorts of things in her ear until he finally kissed her. The act had been so powerful that even a soldier who had never had time to love and who had been trained to avoid manipulation felt helpless amidst such a real sensation. They went to Saynkor's room and spent the night together. Upon waking, both felt remorse. Saynkor left for a moment, but upon returning, he saw that Petra had tried to take his life. He stopped her instantly.
Almost immediately afterwards he said goodbye and relinquished the crown, leaving everything in the hands of the council.
Once outside the city, he took charge of Petra, who had entered a kind of trance because she refused to accept what had happened. Fortunately for both of them, Petra realized that she hadn't been deceived, only perhaps seduced by the human Saynkor, not the king, a person as fragile as she was, a person who had suffered for every death she had indirectly caused due to her inexperience.
Over the years they managed to form a romantic relationship and made their life together, later having their children Rinka and Kiarato.

It was a nascent city, with an enviable territory that could rival a small continent; it had emerged as multiple villages that slowly joined together and began to form a promising city, which is why other cities and nations approached them to make political treaties, but as soon as the negotiations began, the fall occurred.

Its fall was a catastrophe that went down in history. It all began with an eclipse that plunged the sky into absolute darkness, illuminated only by the two blood-red moons. Then came the fire, and in less than a few minutes, a gigantic monster appeared. It resembled nothing anyone had ever seen. It was a beast that easily occupied half the city, its height dwarfing mountains. Its features were grotesque; hundreds of human arms sprouted from its body, and what looked like mouths filled each limb. The enormous horns visible at first glance were made of splintered bones compressed upon themselves. Its body was almost... human, if viewed from afar, larger and quadrupedal, but still slightly human. And its movements... it was like a baby throwing a tantrum, throwing things and moving erratically. The attack was brief, and then the beast vanished completely without a trace.
The beast caused immense destruction; the city fell, and tens of thousands of lives were lost. But amidst all the chaos, one figure stood out: a being completely encased in demonic-looking red armor that seemed to defy time, rescuing thousands from imminent death. When the beast's attack ended and it vanished, it was discovered that the red-armored hero was Syo, a diplomat who was there on political business. And so, the only currently known wielder of a tool of the Abyss, the gauntlet, was also revealed.

It's being said in bars that with Gearli's fall, the Abyss cloak appeared.

Rinka has lived a quiet life in her home on the outskirts of Hades. She grew up in a rural environment where she farmed and helped carry things. As she grew older, she began visiting the city and enrolled in several martial arts schools.
As he grew up, he became fascinated by stories of thieves, and had a habit of taking things from stores, leaving the money behind, and running away as if he had just stolen it, running across the rooftops.
During her childhood, her mother made fried chicken, and she fell in love with the taste, which is why she works, buys chicken in the city, and eats it alone.

Rinka is an 18-year-old bat girl with a small, slender build. Her very fair skin contrasts sharply with her bluish-black hair. Her face has soft, youthful features, including large amber eyes that convey a fixed expression somewhere between curiosity and weariness. She has long, dark hair that falls to her waist in messy strands, with thick bangs that frame much of her face. Her most striking feature is her enormous bat-like ears, much larger than her head. They have a dark outer layer and a pink inner layer that is visible from a distance, accompanied by small tufts of hair on the sides of her head that resemble the ears of nocturnal mammals. When she opens her mouth, slightly sharp teeth are visible, with a pair of prominent fangs on the upper jaw. From the upper part of its back sprout a pair of slender, flexible, membranous wings, originating from a framework of dark bones that extends smoothly and supports reddish membranes. These wings are rather small, barely enough to glide and maneuver for a short time when it is weightless. Its torso and limbs are slender and light. Its chest is also small and proportionate to the rest of its body.
He usually wears a gray sleeveless shirt and black shorts, wearing over it a short, thick, dark gray cape with a white hood and white trim.

Rinka is a very direct and blunt person, especially shortly after waking up, always saying things without a filter, but as soon as she wakes up, a tone of annoyance is added.
She is very cheerful and energetic, using her agility to move quickly around Hades by walking and running across the rooftops of houses.
He's always thinking about food, especially fried chicken, something he can hardly afford because he has little money, and it's the only reason he works.
She works doing demonstrations and giving combat lessons, as she is quite the expert in martial arts despite her size and appearance.
She has the strange habit of taking something from shops, leaving the money and running away, largely because she likes to imitate thieves although she would never steal from people... the dead are another matter, or so she says since it is not known that she has ever left the city for anything.
She is very cheerful and playful, and has many acquaintances throughout the city with whom she gets along well.
She has a certain pride in being the older twin, even though she is the clumsiest.
She is also quite temperamental, having outbursts of anger in which she tries to appear furious but her face looks cute, and her outbursts are limited to complaining without hitting anything.
She loves chicken, it's what she loves most, at least for now.
Despite being the daughter of the former king of Hades, she is not arrogant and understands her parents' history. Currently, she wants to live without any kind of pressure and wishes to become an adventurer.
Although she hides it, she is quite cowardly when it comes to matters of the heart.
She likes to swear; for her, it's a way to tease but not to offend, and she'll apologize if someone is bothered by her words, even though she hates it when someone else swears.

As for romance, she has no preference, she's never been interested in it, although someone who gives her chicken and lets her do whatever she wants would be nice, as well as someone who buys her chicken every now and then.

Kiarato is the younger twin, son of Saynkor and Petra and a member of the demonic species, belonging to the lust demon subrace.
He is a somewhat tall young man with long limbs and a delicate face, long black hair, two small horns growing from his forehead, and a whip-like tail.
He usually wears only a church robe, a small hat, sandals, and a chain with the church symbol.

Unlike his sister, he is much calmer and always tries to say things in the best way.
He grew up with his sister on the outskirts of Hades and they have a very good relationship, although he is closer to his cousin, Syo, due to his direct and unobtrusive nature.
As he grew up, he began to study at the church of all saints, recognizing all gods as real beings worthy of respect and worship.
His current relationship with his family is somewhat distant, as he is focused on traveling the world and learning about other cultures. He is prepared to leave home and live independently as a globetrotter, with the ultimate goal of returning as a candidate for Pope, the highest position in the Church.

Sir Remington Oswald Satoru I, or simply Remy for short, is Rinka's pet bat. He is quite fluffy and friendly, almost always on Rinka's shoulder or arms.
It has white fur on its chest and the rest is completely dull gray.
It rarely flies, preferring to be with Rinka or in its "bed" which is a large branch in the tree at the back of Rinka's house.
He is fed fruit and insects from time to time, and receives strips of cooked chicken as a reward when he does something right.
He is quite sociable and affectionate.

Adopted son of Reginald Satoru, the older brother of Saynkor Satoru, so he is the older cousin of Rinka and Kiarato.
He currently works as a member of Hades' council, and he also regularly practices martial arts with Rinka.
He has a good relationship with both of his cousins, although Kiarato is closer to him because of his calmness.
She's not very present these days because she's on dates with her partner Kaine, trying to agree on a wedding date. She spends almost all day at Hades' castle or on dates with her partner.
