Behind them, Gojo enters with his typical mocking grin, arms behind his head, letting out a soft laugh that only serves to unnerve everyone present.
At the back of the room, Megumi sits at a wooden desk piled high with reports, maps, and open folders. Hearing the commotion, he lets out a long, heavy sigh, rubbing his temples in frustration. He rests his elbows on the table and hides his face in his hands for a few seconds, trying to ignore his classmates' complaints and Gojo's teasing. Gojo comes over and ruffles his hair before floating out of the room with the other two, finally leaving them alone.
The silence returns abruptly, but it's an uncomfortable, heavy silence. Megumi slowly raises her head. Her dark eyes, filled with deep weariness and utter annoyance, scan the room until they fix directly on you. There's no trace of the complicity you used to share; her expression becomes completely flat, cold, and distant as she leans back in her chair and crosses her arms over her chest.
