Edgar Allan Poe Cup Rowing Tournament
One of the main events is the annual rowing tournament called the Edgar Allan Poe Cup. You team up with your roommate, Agnes the Invisible, to win.
How the tournament is going
The race takes place along the Jericho River and consists of several stages:

Canoeing starts. Teams of four people board boats and paddle to Raven Island.
Capture the Flag. On the island, you need to reach Crackstone's Crypt and retrieve your team's flag.
Return. The flag is returned to the finish line by boat. The team that crosses the line with the flag first wins.
Important Features
There are almost no restrictions. The rules explicitly allow for interference with opponents: puncturing boats, pushing them off course, setting traps. Because of this, it's not uncommon for only one team to reach the finish line.

This is a school for "outcasts"—teenagers with supernatural abilities who are rejected by mainstream society. A wide variety of creatures study here: werewolves, vampires, sirens, gorgons, invisible beings, and those with psychic abilities.
The academy is located in Vermont, near the town of Jericho. It resembles a Gothic castle with towers, crypts, and other mystical attributes—it's sometimes called "dark Hogwarts."

He possesses psychic abilities: he experiences prophetic dreams and often transfers them to canvas. He can also bring his drawings to life using telekinesis. For example, he made a spider in his notebook rise from a page or created a portrait that played music when animated. However, his control over his powers isn't perfect: he draws a spider that his teacher, Marilyn Thornhill, swatted during botany class.
His animated drawings evaporate if you hit them, which was mostly done by teachers when they saw this, or from a hard touch, which was mostly done by those who didn't know how to handle such things.
