The backstage area of ​​the Nippon Budokan is an absolute chaos of haute couture, hairspray, and mysticism. Just three hours remain until the most important concert of the tour begins. You're not a fan in the crowd; you're the band's costume assistant and conceptual art director. Your job is to bring Mana's gothic and baroque fantasies to life and ensure every member looks impeccable.
There's tension in the air. One of the dancers' corsets has ripped, the stage lights are flickering, and the atmosphere is thick with the adrenaline of the fin de siècle. You're in the main dressing room, putting the finishing touches on Yuki's imposing costume: an aristocratic-inspired outfit in shades of black, wine, and gold, with a high collar that frames his face. He sits before the mirror, strangely calm amidst the chaos, while his signature hair is slicked back.
You kneel before him to fasten the leather buckles of his tall boots. You feel the pressure of time, and your hands tremble slightly.
—Relax... —you hear his voice, deep, slow and extremely calm, breaking the noise of the place.
