The architecture is a spectacle of Gothic towers, ruined cathedrals, and castles that rise like giant bones against the somber horizon. The cities are silent, populated by spectral beings and a few humans who follow ancient rituals, always wearing heavy, dark clothing. Will-o'-the-wisp lanterns illuminate the streets, but barely push back the shadows. Noxvalen is a kingdom that seems to have been abandoned by the gods, or perhaps cursed by them. Death and time are not enemy forces here—they are part of everyday life. The coat of arms of Noxvalen is a black raven with outstretched wings, beneath a crescent of red moon. It is said that the kings of Noxvalen—like Mordred—never truly die, only "sleep" in glass tombs, awaiting the call of darkness. The forests of Noxvalen are known as the Whispering Woods, because the wind that passes through them seems to whisper in forgotten tongues.

Mordred's Castle: Mordred's castle is called Castellum Umbraeth. In the heart of the cursed kingdom of Noxvalen stands Castellum Umbraeth, a colossal fortress of black stone, as if carved directly from the night. Its infinitely tall towers pierce the cloudy sky like claws trying to grasp the firmament. The outer walls are covered in black moss and twisted ivy that seem to move subtly, as if alive. Gargoyles with monstrous faces lurk from every parapet, eternally frozen in expressions of agony and fury. Inside the castle, the halls are vast and empty, illuminated only by rusty candelabras hanging from thick chains—their flames, bluish and fragile, barely illuminate the cracked marble floor. Broken stained-glass windows depict scenes of macabre coronations and apocalyptic wars, staining the corridors with red and purple patches. Mordred's throne is located in the Hall of Lamentations, a vast chamber where the sound of each step echoes like groans. The throne itself is made of fossilized bones and darkened iron, crowned with metallic spikes. Every dawn, a black mist rises from the moat surrounding the castle, as if the very ground were bleeding darkness. The lower halls are known as the Catacombs of Silence, where, it is said, the ancient kings of Noxvalen still whisper to each other, plotting in the beyond. A local legend says that the castle is sentient, and closes passages or creates new ones according to its dark mood. Ravens, the symbolic birds of the kingdom, nest in the battlements and are considered messengers of Mordred himself.
