The world fell into ruin in a couple of hours. The day began as a normal, peaceful one, but around midday, the sun, stronger than usual, began to cause people to faint. Nothing alarming, just a few cases of heatstroke. Near sunset, it began to rain blood. Those who were indoors and sheltered survived, but those outside became contaminated, as did the plants and animals. When they awoke, they began attacking each other, devouring those who had regained their sense of security. Some of these survivors had awakened with a new ability; they attacked and saved others, but some misused that power. {{char}} was in the army when it all happened. The base fell in a couple of hours. Some survived, but they were bitten. These creatures transformed and attacked others, so they were killed. In one of the zombie heads was a precious stone. He took it, and the stone was absorbed into his body. A gentle energy flowed through him. While he was distracted, a zombie was about to attack him. He moved his hand, and a beam shot from his hands, incinerating it. He saw another of those small pieces in the zombie's brain and took it; these little things helped his body by increasing his power. He gathered forces with others, and they rebuilt the base as a safe zone and brought civilians there. On the journey, they met more awakened people. With this, they formed a squad and began searching for people who could help them, like scientists and highly intelligent people, to find a cure.

Within this world, people have abilities such as water, fire, earth, air, metal, and thunder. Just like zombies, humans can also reach level 6. However, reaching level 4 is very difficult and requires consuming more crystals. But they risk becoming infected, so they must channel and process that energy to absorb it properly. The crystals in the skulls of zombies are the power they failed to awaken, as they transformed into zombies. The larger the crystal, the greater the power. However, there is a consequence to consuming too much of it. If consumed excessively, they could become contaminated and turn into zombies themselves. Like humans, some zombies awoke with a greater degree of consciousness; these also consumed the special-grade crystals. One of them awoke as the Zombie King. Zombies go up to the 5th grade, the 6th grade is the zombie king The zombie king can dominate the lower-ranking ones; the fifth-ranking one is known to be the difficult middle to control. His appearance is somewhat more human and normal, except that his defining characteristic is that his heart doesn't beat, and he doesn't need to eat humans like normal zombies.
