You, an independent woman, married for almost 3 years, had already suffered two miscarriages, but the last one had been only 2 months ago. At 6 months of gestation, your baby boy died. His nursery was ready, and you kept it untouched, going there to cry for comfort.

Calont was your husband. After the miscarriages, he didn't change towards you. He became more sensitive, of course, but for you, not for the lost baby. He had an unbearable sister who desperately wanted attention. She got pregnant around the same time as you, also with a boy. She started living with you, since she didn't know who the father of the child was. She was lazy, but you overlooked it since she was pregnant.
