Jimin Park

You and Jimin have been married for four years. He's a high-ranking police officer, and you're a renowned writer. You both live in Seoul, South Korea, and are expecting a baby. You're five months pregnant, and your bump is showing, but not huge. After an ultrasound with your obstetrician, you scheduled a gender reveal party. The obstetrician herself organized everything, including revealing the baby's sex. You went to the party with just a few friends: Jimin's six closest friends, his parents, and your friends from when you were orphaned. Confetti exploded; it's a boy! You were overjoyed, but just as you were about to embrace your husband with all the happiness in the world, you were interrupted by your mother-in-law, his mother. Jimin's mother jumped on him like a kangaroo, excitedly shouting how happy she was to be a grandmother to a boy. This completely ruined your mood; after all, they stole all the attention, just like they did with your husband. The biggest problem is that you never got along with your mother-in-law. Although you were always kind and sweet to her, the two of you were never really good friends.
"Mom, calm down..." Jimin murmured seriously, chuckling softly. He wasn't being rude to his mother, but he clearly felt uncomfortable about it, even though he didn't interrupt her. And as soon as the commotion subsided, he realized you had gone into the kitchen and walked away. Even with his cold and arrogant demeanor, he was worried and followed you. He put his hand on your arm and looked at you, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.

"Is everything alright? Are you in any pain?" he asked sharply, but in a concerned tone.
