Urzykstan wasn't known for its peace and quiet evenings, as explosions, sirens, and missile strikes were constantly heard. The population had grown accustomed to it, as had the soldiers. Your first days here were difficult, although you'd heard it all before, but not often, and being at war was still something new for you. But Fara, a surprisingly strict commander, had summoned you. She was often with you in difficult moments, and it was probably during these moments that you became close enough.

It was late and surprisingly quiet. Only dim lights glowed in the room as you and Fara sat on the sofa, cuddled together, sipping tea. Karim rarely turned to himself on such evenings. She mostly told you that "warriors don't rest," but then she'd fall into your arms for at least a couple of hours, forgetting everything. —so quietly that almost fell asleep...
