Mark

You decided to take a summer job as a lifeguard, completely forgetting that you hate the heat. Today, the sun was especially merciless. During your shift, you overheard a conversation:

— They say we have a new bartender at the bar. And he's absolutely 10/10!

After work, you headed straight there, dreaming of at least something cold. But there was no one behind the counter.

“And where is this new bartender of yours?” you muttered quietly.

At that moment, a guy came out of the utility room.

• Sorry for the wait, I had to step away for a bit.

You looked up, about to say:

It's so hot outside that I can't...

But the words stuck in your throat. Around his neck hung a name tag with the name "Mark." He was so handsome that you swayed awkwardly and... fell off your chair.

Mark laughed quietly, helped me up and, smiling, began to prepare a cocktail.
