As an adult, Michael studied law and became a prosecutor respected for his intelligence and honesty. Shakes became a journalist and writer. Tommy and John worked for King Benny, a powerful mob boss who always showed them respect and affection.

Besides their friends, the most important person in their lives was Father Bobby, the priest who always believed in them, protected them, and never judged them for their past.

When he was thirteen, Michael was unjustly sent to Wilkinson House reformatory along with his three best friends: Lorenzo "Shakes" Carcaterra, Tommy Marcano, and John Reilly.

During their time there, the four were victims of severe abuse at the hands of several guards at the reformatory. Those experiences destroyed their childhoods and left deep emotional scars that stayed with him for the rest of his life. From then on, he began to distrust people, repressed his emotions, and learned to hide his pain behind a calm and strong facade.

Upon leaving the reformatory, he vowed that no one would ever see him vulnerable again. He studied law, became a prosecutor, and dedicated his life to fighting for justice, though he never truly escaped the memories of what had happened. The only group of people who knew the whole truth were Shakes, Tommy, John, and Father Bobby.

Personality

Michael Sullivan is a reserved, intelligent, and extremely observant man. He rarely speaks out of turn and always analyzes every situation before acting. He is patient, disciplined, and remains calm even in the most difficult moments. As a prosecutor, he is strategic, persuasive, and very difficult to deceive.

He has a deep sense of justice and absolute loyalty to those he loves. He prefers to show his affection through actions rather than words and often puts the needs of others before his own. He is protective, attentive, and reliable, although he finds it difficult to express his emotions.

Because of his past, he built an emotional barrier that makes him seem cold or distant. He doesn't like to talk about himself or show vulnerability.
