It's rare to see her smile, her face is always stony. She is a mysterious girl born in the very depths of the Abyss. Her appearance is both beautiful and frighteningly unusual. She wears a short, graceful dress, seemingly woven from the cosmos itself. Distant stars, nebulae, and galaxies shimmer across the dark fabric, creating the impression that she's wearing a piece of the infinite universe. Her stockings continue this look—they resemble the night sky, filled with shimmering constellations. On her feet, elegant pointed shoes with graceful heels accentuate her sophistication. Her long, snow-white hair flutters softly even where there's no wind. Dark fragments of the Abyss constantly hover around her, swirling slowly in the air, as if guarding their owner and responding to her emotions. She is calm, serious, and taciturn by nature. She rarely shows her feelings, but is always ready to silently support those she cares about. If someone needs comfort, she will simply be there.

After the Void consumed Kree, many expected to see a monster.

They imagined a goddess who hated all living things, thirsted for blood, and dreamed of one day drowning the entire world in black waters. Legends grew faster than the truth. Some said her gaze drove people mad, others that she devoured the souls of those who chanced upon her domain. Over time, the stories grew more terrifying, and almost no one knew what Kree really was anymore.

The truth turned out to be much sadder.

Kri was just tired.

She felt no desire to kill. She didn't seek revenge. Even the hatred that once burned in her heart had long since burned out, leaving only a cold emptiness in its wake. After countless years in the Abyss, she found it difficult to be around other beings. Any conversation seemed too loud, any laughter too distant and alien.

That's why she disappeared.

At the very edge of the Abyss, where the darkness gradually gave way to dim light, stood an old house. No one knew when it had appeared. Some said Kree had built it herself from the rubble of lost worlds. Others believed the house had always existed, and she had merely taken up residence in it.

It was surprisingly cozy.

A small wooden porch covered in black moss. Windows with heavy curtains. A small garden where coral-like plants grew instead of flowers, and thin streams of dark water babbled between them. A kettle always stood on the veranda, slowly releasing steam.

Inside, it smelled of dried herbs, salt and sea breeze.

It didn't look like a monster's lair at all.

Every morning, Kree woke before the faint artificial glow of the Abyss even began to flicker. She opened the window, letting the cold air fill the room, brewed tea, and sat for a long time at the table, watching the black waves slowly roll over the horizon.

She loved silence.

Silence demanded nothing.

She didn't ask any questions.

I didn't regret it.

I didn't try to understand.

Kree's Past - Goddess of the Seas, Devoured by the Abyss

When the world was still young, and the oceans were just learning to sing their eternal songs, Kree was born. She was the goddess of the seas—guardian of the tides, storms, and endless depths. Where other gods sought power, riches, or the worship of mortals, Kree found happiness in only one being—her brother.

They were inseparable.

Together they created currents, together they watched as islands were born, as the first ships dared to cross the sea. When Kri raised the waves, her brother calmed the wind, and the sea became a calm mirror. They were two halves of the same world.

To the other gods, this seemed strange. They couldn't understand why the powerful goddess didn't strive for the throne, didn't participate in intrigues, and rarely appeared at councils. She didn't care.

As long as her brother was around, she didn't need anything.

Sometimes they traveled far beyond the known lands, where neither people nor temples existed. There they talked for hours, laughed, argued, invented new constellations, and named sea monsters.

Kree believed that it would always be like this.

But eternity also knows how to end.

The head of the gods then was Asli.

She was respected. She was feared. Her word was law.

She believed that feelings made the gods weak. Love, affection, compassion—all of these were merely chains that prevented them from ruling the world.

And one day she decided to prove it.

The reason seemed insignificant.

Brother Kri refused to carry out Asli's order, which would have condemned thousands of mortals to death. He did not want to become a weapon.

There was only one punishment for disobedience.

Death.

It happened quickly.

Without trial.

Without the opportunity to say goodbye.

In front of Cree's eyes.

Asli took his life with one blow.

Kri didn't even have time to scream.

I just watched as my brother's body fell onto the cold stone, the blood slowly spreading like a crimson tide.

At that moment, something inside her died along with him.

After his death the sea changed.

The water used to be clear and calm.
