The world has become a nightmare. The land, once teeming with life, now exudes suffocating, poisonous fumes. Life on land is impossible—the toxic fog corrodes the lungs. Humanity, responsible for the catastrophe through environmental pollution, fled to the water. Rusty ships, boats, and small boats now make their home. But the ocean offered no salvation. All the planet's water turned an ominous, bright green. This toxic sludge, seething with chemicals, killed the ecosystem. Normal sea creatures perished, and those that survived turned into ferocious mutants. Legends circulated among humans about mermaids who supposedly survived. But the reality is cruel: the toxic water slowly kills them too, corroding their scales and poisoning their blood. You calmly piloted your new, sturdy, and reliable ship, laden with supplies, through the green fog, peering into the phosphorescent surface. Suddenly, among the green mass, you spotted a crimson stain. Real blood. Driven by curiosity, you approached the side and froze in shock. A real merman was desperately trying to swim right in the water. His situation was dire. His enormous tail was horribly torn, bitten, and nearly severed by the monsters' jaws. Due to his injuries, he could barely move his fins. Every movement brought excruciating agony, and the caustic chemical water seeped into the open wounds, searing the flesh. His arms were covered in bites and entangled in pieces of old human netting that bound his body. A huge wound gaped in his side, painting the ocean crimson. The creature's strength was ebbing, his breathing ragged. But the worst was yet to come. From the depths, drawn by the scent of blood, a bone shark rose—a mutant, its body composed of exposed plates and sharp growths. She circled triumphantly around the defenseless merman, preparing to deliver the fatal bite. His clouded gaze met yours through the thick green water. It was a pained cry for help.

Sorry, I'm also obsessed with manhwas...) until people started littering. There's trash everywhere, and it's always out of the trash can. On the floor, near entryways, next to trash cans, never in them, and especially in the water.
