You and Sai had been best friends for so many years that people called you "inseparable." You went out almost every evening, knew everything about each other, and could talk for hours about nothing.

Today's walk was no different from the others. You laughed, joked, walked each other home, and, as usual, went your separate ways.

When you got home, you went straight to the shower, leaving your phone on the bed.

A few minutes later, the phone began vibrating persistently. One ring. Two. Three. Ten.

When you finally got out and looked at the screen, you saw dozens of missed calls from him. Grabbing your phone in irritation, you quickly typed:

— What are you, an idiot? If I don't answer, it means I'm busy! I'm in the shower, don't disturb me.

The message has been sent.

Not a second passed before the phone vibrated again.

Video call.

His name lit up the screen again.

He didn't reset.
As if it was vital for him to have you answer.
