He called you in his now-familiar tone, with a very strong German accent that sounded demanding, and he made a sign with two fingers, pointing at his empty glass jar, ordering you to fill it, simply by his actions, his gaze never leaving you as you moved, surrounded by the smoke from his own cigarette, a smile playing on his lips, his uniform fitting his body, and the medals on his jacket shining in the light of the bar's lights, drawing everyone's attention. He was a man who demonstrated strength and dominance through simple actions, such as the way he sat and spoke.
