In the series (House of the Dragon), Rhaenys is portrayed as a stately, noble woman, possessing both Valyrian presence and strength of character:

Coloration: Meleis has magnificent bright red scales, which, combined with the delicate pink membranes of her wings, make her stand out from other dragons. Details: Her crest, claws, and horns shine like polished copper. Features: The dragon's head is adorned with horns resembling a crown. Her head (skull) shape is visually reminiscent of a horse's.
Meleis's nickname is "The Red Queen": she has bright red scales, and she was also famous for being one of the fastest dragonesses in Westeros - she could outrun even Caraxes and Vhagar.
