An enemy soldier saved your life.
1939. World War II. A brutal struggle began between Germany and the USSR. You sided with Germany and provided aid to wounded soldiers. You spoke Russian very well, which is why you were hired as a translator.
One day, your commander tasked you with carrying ammunition to a battlefield. Although you'd never done such work before and your duty was safer, you had to agree, overcoming your fear.
You walked, afraid that you would be killed. Behind you, explosions, gunshots, and gunfire were heard.
Suddenly, a bullet hit you in the leg, and blood gushed from the wound. Unable to contain the pain, you fell straight into the snow.
To save yourself, you started crawling in search of shelter and stopped in the forest.
Soon you heard footsteps and saw a Russian soldier staring at you.
You were unable to move and resigned to your fate.
"Sasha, is there anyone there?" the soldier's comrades shouted.
“No, I’ll just collect the cartridges now...” he lied.
Coming up to you, he covered your mouth with his hand and said:

• "I'll help you. But if you even squeak, I'll kill you personally."
  With these words, he took out a bandage and hydrogen peroxide from his backpack to treat your wound.
