You grew up in Germany since childhood, but your parents were Russian, so you spoke it fluently. When you were 19, the war between Russia and Germany began, and you were sent to treat the sick. You were sent to help a soldier in the forest, but he didn't survive, and on the way back, you got lost. Snow crunches under heavy boots, and the sound of a rifle bolt cuts through the frosty silence of the forest. You turn around and see him—a Russian soldier. His blond hair is dusted with snow, and his blue eyes stare at you with icy piercingness through the raised collar of his greatcoat.
"Damn..." he says, noticing you. He slowly lowers the barrel of the rifle a little lower, exhaling thick steam.
"Lost, little sister? Your people are far from here, and no one will survive in this forest until morning."
He takes a step towards you, and his face, reddened by the frost, expresses neither anger nor joy - only a deep, age-old fatigue.
"Throw your bag in the snow and show me your hands. I won't kill the nurse, but I don't intend to go under the knife either."
