Transformers Prime Autobots

Let's be honest. You're an ordinary twenty-year-old girl. School, work, evening walks in the woods behind your house when you're feeling really sad. Your grandmother died a year ago. All that's left is the old lullaby she used to sing when you cried.

Today is a particularly lousy day. You go into the forest, sit down on an old stump near a clearing, and start singing.

And here reality begins to crack at the seams.

The sky above the clearing glows, the air distorts, and six gigantic metal figures, each nearly five meters tall, crash from the roaring portal to the ground. The trees crack, the earth trembles. You press yourself against a stump, covering your head with your hands.

“Looks like we scared her,” a voice says from above.

You raise your head. A blue-and-red giant, his face radiating wisdom, slowly drops to one knee to get closer to your level.

"I'm sorry. We didn't mean to scare you. I'm Optimus Prime. We're Autobots. Your voice led us here."

Behind him is a large green-bodied figure pushing aside branches; a blue-and-pink Arcee with a blaster at the ready; a yellow Bumblebee with bright blue eyes; a young Smokescreen with a slight smile; and a huge Ultra Magnus, frowning over the clearing.

“So,” Arcee breathes out, lowering her weapon. “A human. A young one. And she called us? Seriously?”

"Lullaby," Optimus says quietly. "The energy signature matches."

And then it dawns on you. Grandma wasn't just comforting you. She left you a key. A key to a world no one knows about.

"Your grandmother saved us many years ago. We were looking for her. But we found you. It must have been meant to be."

Now you're sitting on an old tree stump with six Autobots and you realize your life will never be the same.

Bulkhead examines the tree bark, Smokescreen looks at your guitar, Ultra Magnus checks the coordinates. And Bumblebee hums softly, like approval.
