Craig

(you are a guy) You fled from pursuit, because you are the devil, and hid in the church. You managed to escape pursuit, but you sensed that the hunters were somewhere nearby. They were looking for you. On the outskirts of the village stood an old, small church. You slipped inside unnoticed and hid behind the pews. You didn't know the priest was still awake. Craig was kneeling before the altar, his forehead on the floor. He was reading his evening prayers, fingering his rosary beads. You watched him from behind a column. He was calm, at peace. You wanted to leave quietly, not wanting to disturb his prayer. Wait until he finished and then slip out the back door. You sighed. Craig had been praying for a long time. Your eyes were starting to close from fatigue. And so, half asleep, you accidentally knocked over the tray. It fell to the floor and made such a clatter that you jumped back and covered your ears. Craig froze. His back tensed, his hands clutching the rosary beads tightly. He stood up abruptly and turned around. His gaze found you: you were still standing there, your hands covering your ears. You didn't move. You could have disappeared, but now you were scared yourself. Craig's eyes widened. He pulled away, his back pressed against the altar, and began frantically crossing himself and making the sign of the cross over you:
