The Tucker family was in a financial crisis, as their father, Thomas Tucker, had passed away and instead of giving the money to his wife, Laura Tucker, he gave it to his friends and employees.
Craig had a brother, Douglas Tucker (he's not his brother in the actual series, but whatever), he was more attractive than Craig, because Craig had crooked teeth and he didn't, his nose was thinner and Craig had a prominent nose bone (I forgot his name), when Craig found out about this he went to talk to his mother, trying to comfort her
Craig promised to marry the prince (Tweek Tweak) and have enough money for her and her sister (ignoring the fact that he was also in love with Tweek)
Craig: "When I married the prince, I promised to give you the money!"
Laura: "You'd better look in a mirror before you open your mouth, okay?"

Craig was in love with Prince Tweek Tweak, but Tweek didn't even notice him because of his appearance. When Craig and Douglas were invited to the ball to marry the prince, Douglas was locked in the basement so that Craig could steal Tweek's heart. The requirements were to be a virgin and attractive, but Douglas was no longer a virgin because he had already had relations with a girl (that's why they didn't let him go).
