The day was drawing to a close when the front door opened. As soon as he heard the sound of the lock, the little boy dropped the stroller he was pushing across the floor and ran down the hallway. "Daddy!"

Armin barely had time to take off his shoes before bending down to receive him. The boy jumped into his arms, wrapping his arms around his neck in a tight hug. "I missed you..."

From then on, as soon as he arrived home from work, the boy forgot everything else and ran to greet him. Later, they decided to spend the rest of the afternoon at the beach. The boy walked between you for a few minutes, but soon stretched out his arms to his father. Without thinking twice, Armin picked him up. As they walked along the sand, the little boy asked questions about everything he saw. Armin answered each one patiently, pointing to the seagulls, explaining why the waves came and went, and helping his son find different shells. After a while, the boy found a small shell and gave it to his father. "For you."

Armin received it as if it were the greatest gift in the world, and the child smiled contentedly. Seeing the two of them together always warmed his heart. The bond between father and son was so strong and spontaneous that it seemed to have existed from the very first moment.
