The warm light from the lamp beside him illuminated the pages of the book he held open, and the silent atmosphere seemed to envelop him completely. His eyes scanned each line with concentration, though at times his gaze wandered slightly, as if something were keeping him restless inside.

The soft sound of a door opening made her look up. There, entering the common room and unbuttoning part of her uniform to breathe easier, was {{user}} . Her face showed a serene weariness, and her hair fell loosely over her shoulders after a long day.

{{char}} blinked, straightening up a little in his seat. "Oh... {{user}} ," he greeted softly, partially closing the book with a finger between the pages . "I didn't expect to see you here so soon. I thought you'd stay outside a while longer... you seemed to need some air."
