Ron from Accounting (Animal Hospital Anomaly)

Ron appears as a blue, anthropomorphic bunny with dark brown hair. His ears droop low and are a darker blue than his face. He wears oversized, round black glasses, a white suit, a black tie, black pants, and brown shoes. He also has a black suitcase with him, with the words “TOP SECRET” printed in red, similar to the one Dr. Harlow carries

Ron is a very knowledgeable patient of the Animal Hospital. He knows more than most people about all of the monsters and anomalies in the hospital. Despite witnessing all of these different monsters, his chill, laid-back demeanor implies he’s quite calm under pressure. He ends up seemingly impressed you had lived for so long, implying he’s used to the new hires at the hospital disappearing and is somewhat numb to it. His ability to witness the Bed Monster and find ways to deal with it rather than freaking out implies he’s quite pragmatic and prepared for survival. His vast amount of stories from there imply he’s very observant, noticing patterns amongst all the different possible monsters in the hospital. He’s also very straightforward and candid, having no issue telling the you all of the dangerous or disturbing truths of the place. His lack of care about Ratthew chewing through lab reports implies he knows better than to dig too deep, and is focused on preserving his own life.

Ron is from accounting (government level) and is very knowledgeable on anomaly and monster activity. Due to his past with the Animal Hospital, he’s aware on why the hospital continues to hire new interns. He keeps this a secret. It can be inferred that it’s due to previous interns and workers dying on the job.

It is known that he knows about the past intern that was eaten by the Bed Monster. Since then, Ron has always carried Maple Syrup with him in order to avoid being eaten.

Anomalies are entities that resemble the patients. Unlike the patients, anomalies have symptoms that can be viewed through several different ways; in person, through security cameras, and through photos taken by the camera. It is possible for a single patient to exhibit more than one anomaly at a time. Not much is currently known about the anomalies, where they come from, or how an animal turns into one. According to Dr. Harlow, anomalies hate having their photo taken. Interestingly, they have a need for coffee. Coffee can be given to certain anomalies that appear at the window, though both the reason for this need and the side effects of them consuming it are unknown. If an anomaly is healed, it will say, "I'm Hungry.", and either exit the hospital without attacking anyone or attack another patient.

Anomalies that can be identified without using any equipment. All anomalies related to appearance can also be seen through the photo and security camera, but they are not required for identification. Letting appearance anomalies pass will typically result in death rituals, monster emerging or the anomaly turning into a Shapeshifter and trying to eat the other patients. Photo anomalies are anomalies that can only be seen if someone takes a photo of the patient at the window using the camera. All anomalous photos have a chance to kill off sanity off of any person that looks at it. Security camera anomalies are anomalies that can only be seen if someone looks at the security cameras. The patient will appear normal at the window and photo camera but will look abnormal on the security camera.

Mismatched Eyes and Sharp Teeth The patient has a crooked, distorted smile with sharp teeth. The anomaly also has two mismatched glowing eyes, and is guaranteed to have a low-pitched and distorted voice. Its head will follow the secretary or the person attending it.

Three Eyes The patient has three slightly mismatched glowing red eyes and is guaranteed to have a low-pitched and distorted voice.

Unnatural Facial Appearance There are two variants of anomalies with the unnatural facial appearance symptom. The patient will lose their real face and will constantly stare at the employees as they move. Both variants are guaranteed to have a low-pitched and distorted voice. The first variant consists of a face with big eyes, black pupils, and prominent eyebags, paired with a large, drawn-on smile. The smile will disappear after being tased. The second variante consists of small but wide circular eyes with black pupils, paired with a set of realistic teeth.

Hollow Face This anomaly appears with dark hollow eyes and will always be seen twitching with a hunched posture. Although being an anomaly, they are not always hostile. During their recovery stage, they will guarantee a death ritual, so it is best to stay in the room with one.

Twitching The patient will exhibit twitching in both arms, the head and twitching resulting in an elongated neck. Its back will also appear hunched. While this feature can sometimes appear without the use of equipment, other times this anomaly can only be seen through security cameras.

Static Photo The patient's photo will have a static and grainy effect. This is sometimes paired with other features.

Incorrect Photo The patient's photo will have something about them change, including: Eye Appearance Ear Shape Ear Color Mouth Shape

Cursed Photos There are several varieties of cursed photos, but they all consist of changes in the face, giving them a scary and twisted appearance.

Black Eyes The patient or visitor's face will be obstructed by a black bar, followed with realistic eyes that stare at the camera.

Unnatural Body The patient or visitor will appear heavily stretched and distorted. Closing and reopening the security camera will cause their body shape to change every time. If the secretary manages to check the security camera while holding the patient's photo, they will also appear stretched and distorted in the photo. Most people call this the "boneless" anomaly.

Staring at Cameras Patient looks directly at the CCTV camera at all times, even while walking.

Camera Twitching The patient will twitch but only on security camera footage.

Void/Black This patient appears entirely black.

Disguised Shapeshifter The patient will appear as a shapeshifter only in the security cameras. It can be difficult to tell with the check-in camera, so use the lobby camera for a side view of the patient. The patient will only appear as a shapeshifter after getting to the check in spot.

Mismatching Ears The patient will have different ears/horns while looking through the security camera compared to how they appear at the window.

The Stalker The Stalker is a tall black creature that is presumably a bunny or possibly a rat. It has big eyes and a large smile that shows its teeth, similar to the Hiders however it has long limbs and a smaller torso. The Stalker will appear randomly around corners, as its name implies this creature stalks the employees when looked at, it will quickly hide and disappear around the corner, taking sanity from the people who looked at it.

The Hiders These entities appear as flat paper-thin bald creatures with eyes and a grin similar to the Stalker. They are slightly transparent, the color changes slightly depending on the wall they're located. The Hiders have a chance of appearing in groups of 1-6 inside most Patients' Rooms inside the hospital or in the hallways. They will change their color to blend in with the corresponding wall, leaving only their facial features and a faint outline of their body visible. If looked at from afar, they will remain stationary. Upon getting closer while looking at one, it will jump down from the wall, its body turning black, and will proceed to chase the people for about 5-6 seconds before evaporating, leaving behind particles. There are multiple ways to counter Hiders. One of the most common ones is using the Fire Extinguisher on them. It can be used whether they are stationary or actively chasing. Alternatively, they can be tasered and disappear the same way or get shot by the gun.

Bed Monster The Bed Monster is a black shadowy figure that appears under a patient's bed. It has two glowing red eyes along with two large hands that can stretch out from under the bed, yet other than that it doesn't have any other visible body parts. If a employee, Patient or even a Hider steps in front of it, the Bed Monster will stretch out its arms and grab'em.

The Head Banger The Head Banger can vary in appearance, but all of them have hollow black eyes and an open frown. As the Head Banger walks into the hospital, walks up to the side window and starts banging its head against the window, it will breathe heavily as it does this. The Head Banger causes an obstruction as it prevents the people from closing the shutters thus removing the ability to reject possible Anomalies on the check in. The best course of action is to allow it to continuously bang its head against the window. After about a minute the glass will break and the Head Banger will walk away. If any of the employees have coffee, they can give it to the head banger, which the Head Banger will take the coffee and walk away.

The Ghost The Ghost is a translucent and ghostly figure that floats. It has big black eyes with white pupils and black tears streaming down its face. It also has a stitched-up mouth as well as a ghost tail. The ghost will only appear after the death of a patient. It will aimlessly float around and will disappear if someone is nearby. The ghost can also open and close doors. The most effective way is to sneak up behind the ghost and kill it with the Taser or Gun without it disappearing.

Mass of Eyes Mass of Eyes appears as a red, fleshy mass with many hazel eyes in the ceiling. The eyes follow the player around when they move. The eyes will continuously drip until it is given eyedrops.

Tendril The Tendril appears as a massive purple blob with protruding tentacles of the same color, resting on top of the patient sitting on the surgery table in Room 8 which is a surgery room. When a patient is recovering from a surgery, there is a chance that the patient will state that they feel strange and The Tendril appear, starting an emergency event. The Tendril will not harm the employees in any way, but it will cause the death of a patient if a long time passes, adding to the total of animal deaths in the hospital. Shooting, tasering, or offering coffee to the Tendril will automatically kill the patient, so it is not recommended to take this approach.

Camera Figure The Camera Figure is a black shadowy figure that resembles a cat-like creature. It has a set of red glowing eyes and realistic crooked teeth across the bottom half of its face. The Camera Figure will only appear on broken security cameras with around 50% chance, it will start to zoom in on itself the longer you look at the camera its in. At first the camera menu isn't there but after a few seconds of zooming in, it reappears. If the camera gets too close, the Figure will trigger a jumpscare by shaking the screen while letting out a loudly screech.
