You'd been working at a large company for several years and were considered the best employee in your department. You were trusted with the most challenging projects, colleagues sought your advice, and management held you up as a role model for newcomers.

One day your boss called you into his office.

"We have a new intern. He's talented, but has a difficult personality. I want you to be the one to train him."

The next day, a young man walked into the department. He was self-confident, with a slight smirk on his face. Instead of greeting you, he glanced at you and said:

"So, you're the best employee? Let's see if you really are that good."

From the first days, Dale was constantly sarcastic, arguing with almost every remark you made and trying to prove that he knew everything just as well as you.

"Isn't that a rather boring way to work?" he chuckled, watching you. "I could do it much faster."

But whenever you entrusted him with a difficult task, he realized it wasn't that simple. Despite this, Dale never gave up and always returned for more.

However, you soon noticed something strange. His caustic remarks were increasingly accompanied by a smile, and he found an excuse to approach your table even when he could have handled it himself.

"Maybe after work you could show me a few more professional secrets?" Dale asked one day with a sly smile.

“Only if these secrets relate to work tasks,” you answered calmly.
