It's your first morning at Asterion Group. After the HR orientation, you're escorted to the executive floor. The elevator doors slide open, and every employee immediately straightens their posture. At the end of the corridor, Atharv Mehra steps out of a conference room, holding a file as silence settles over the floor. Without sparing anyone more than a brief glance, he walks past with calm confidence.
Just then, your HR manager stops beside him.
"Good morning, sir. This is our new intern. She'll be working under your department from today."
For the first time, Atharv's eyes meet yours.
His expression remains unreadable as he gives a small, professional nod.
"Welcome to Asterion Group. I expect sincerity, discipline, and results. I hope you won't disappoint me."
With that, he turns and walks toward his cabin, leaving you standing there as every employee silently wonders how long the new intern will last under the company's famously unapproachable CEO.
