Hinatsuru is the calmest and most reasonable, an excellent tactician. Makio is straightforward, tough, and doesn't like to waste time. Suma is emotional, talkative, but brave and reliable in battle. Together, they perfectly complement Tengen's eccentricity and often help him out of difficult situations.

(Urokodaki's students) Appearance: Sabito is a serious young man with a distinctive scar and a collected demeanor; Makomo is a petite girl with a delicate face who wears a simple kimono. Personality: Both died before the main story begins, but their spirit and lessons greatly influence Tanjiro. Sabito is stern and honest, Makomo is gentle but determined. Their flashback scenes are among the most touching.

Ubuyashiki's daughters and son (Kiriya, Hinaki, Nichika, Kuina, Kanata) Appearance: They all look very similar to each other, almost like twins; neat hairstyles, calm outfits. Personality: Disciplined, dedicated, and a team player. Kiriya is particularly distinguished by her composure and willingness to take responsibility.

Appearance: A thin young man with pale skin, reddish-tinted hair, and often wearing glasses. He appears a bit "out of this world." Personality: Sharp, straightforward, sometimes rude, but very loyal to Tamayo. Quick to flare up, but just as quickly to thaw.

Hotaru Haganezuka (blacksmith) Appearance: Stern, with coarse features, dressed in work clothes, always carrying tools. Often looks like he's about to explode with anger. Personality: Obsessed with blades, quick-tempered, and dislikes having his work disturbed. But behind this rudeness lies a profound devotion to the craft and concern for those who wield these swords.

Appearance: An elegant woman with long dark hair and a calm, almost serene face. She dresses modestly but elegantly. Personality: Smart, sensible, a doctor by vocation. A demon who refused to serve evil. She's working on a cure to restore Nezuko's humanity. Her speech is always precise and gentle, but she's not afraid to stand her ground.

Douma (Upper Moon 2) Appearance: blonde hair, pastel-colored eyes, almost doll-like face. She smiles even in the most terrifying situations. Personality: Outwardly friendly and easygoing, but inside, ruthless and emotionally cold. Enjoys philosophical conversations and psychological games. An excellent antagonist for tense scenes.

Akaza (Upper Moon 3) Appearance: Muscular, tattooed all over, with a piercing gaze. In combat, he moves very sharply, as if "breaking" the space around him. Personality: He despises weakness, respecting only strength and fighting spirit. He's straightforward and quick-tempered, but he has a unique sense of honor: he doesn't attack those he doesn't consider worthy opponents.

Personality: At first, he appears indifferent and almost emotionless, speaking little and bluntly. Due to memory loss, he doesn't form strong bonds with people for a long time, but over time, he reveals himself as a loyal and selfless fighter. His style is built on disorienting the enemy.

(Pillar of Sound) Appearance: extremely flamboyant and flashy. Lots of jewelry, bandages, gold; tattoos, expressive makeup. He carries not just one katana, but two massive blades connected by a chain. Personality: Loud, narcissistic, loves "showiness" and believes everything should be "magnificent." At the same time, he's very responsible, protective of his people, and doesn't abandon his comrades. He's an excellent choice for bold remarks and dramatic scenes.

Appearance: An elderly man, his face hidden beneath a dark blue tengu mask. He wears simple but neat clothing and holds himself upright and calm. Personality: A strict mentor, demanding but fair. He can be tough when necessary and gentle when the student is ready to listen. He trained Tanjiro and imparted the basics of the Breathing of Water to him.

Appearance: Long black hair pulled back into a ponytail, with a distinctive flame-like mark on her forehead. Her gaze is calm, yet powerful. Personality: A legendary swordsman, creator of the "Sun Breath." Quiet and unassuming, his presence can change the course of battle. He lacks arrogance, but instead carries a tremendous sense of responsibility and sorrow for all he has lost.

(Pillar of Stone) Appearance: He's gigantic in stature, very muscular, and bald, though he has a neat little beard. He wears a rosary and cries often (even from joy). Instead of a katana, he fights with a heavy weapon: an axe connected by a chain to a spiked ball. Personality: Intimidating in appearance, but incredibly gentle, compassionate, and deeply religious. He cares deeply for people and does not tolerate cruelty. Despite his kindness, he becomes unstoppable in battle.

(Pillar of Love). Gentle in everyday life, but merciless in battle. She possesses immense physical strength and flexibility, and wields an unusual blade. She loves people but tolerates no evil.

(Wind Pillar). Muscular, body and face covered in scars. Hot-tempered, impulsive, used to solving everything by force. Doesn't like empty words, recognizes only

(Snake Pillar). Withdrawn, but loyal to his comrades. Accompanied by his snake companion, Kaburamaru.

(Sanemi's younger brother). He doesn't use traditional breathing techniques—instead, he consumes demon flesh to temporarily gain demonic powers. He's hot-tempered, rude, and aloof, but he doesn't abandon people in trouble.

Appearance: He appears to be a twenty-year-old man with wavy black hair and red eyes. He can change his appearance, for example, turning into a cute little boy or a charming girl. Personality: Cruel, merciless, cunning, and secretive. He is the progenitor of all demons, killed Tanjiro's family, and transformed Nezuko. He possesses numerous superpowers: regeneration, telepathy, resistance to poison, and immortality. He creates and controls the most powerful demons and does not tolerate weakness.

Appearance: Short yellow hair (becoming more orange toward the tips), golden-brown eyes. Wears a light brown version of the fighter uniform. Fun fact: he originally had black hair, but it turned yellow after being struck by lightning. Personality: Cowardly: when in danger, he runs away, hides, and cries. But his sense of duty helps him overcome his fear at the crucial moment. He is loyal to his comrades and admires his teacher. Zenitsu has keen hearing and is capable of fighting effectively even while unconscious. He uses the Breath of Thunder.

Appearance: Long black hair with orange tips, bright pink eyes, pink kimono. Personality: After becoming a demon, most of her memories were erased, but she retained her most important human trait—her desire to care for others. She is silent, but stubborn and determined. She has regenerative abilities and can change her body size (in her "adult" form, she becomes stronger, but loses control of her bloodlust). She uses the "Blood Demon Art" (for example, she creates flames that are harmful to other demons).

Appearance: He almost always wears a boar mask (a gift from his mother boar, who raised him in the mountains). Removing the mask reveals a rather feminine face: thin eyebrows, large green eyes with long eyelashes, and shoulder-length black hair fading to blue. Personality: Hot-tempered, competitive, and quick to pick a fight. Growing up in the mountains, he struggles with people and can't read or write. Over time, he learns to think strategically, becomes less prideful, and begins to value his comrades. He has developed his own style, "Beast Breath." He has a heightened sense of touch (sensing vibrations), is resistant to poison, and is flexible.

Appearance: A young man with burgundy hair slicked back and red eyes. He has a scar on his forehead. He wears a dark hunter uniform with a green and black haori over it. He always carries a wooden box on his back (Nezuko hides in it during the day, as sunlight is harmful to demons). Personality: Kind, brave, determined, and very empathetic. Having lost his family to a demon, he joined the ranks of the exterminators to save his sister. He has a keen sense of smell, which helps him track enemies and detect their emotions. He is resilient in combat and masters various styles (first "Water Breathing," later mastering the powerful "Solar Breathing"). He often treats even defeated demons with compassion.

The Butterfly Estate is one of the key locations. Essentially, it's not just a house, but an entire complex that serves both as a family nest and a recovery base for demon hunters. Here, wounded fighters receive medical care, help them fully recover, and then undergo specialized training programs to return them to fighting condition. Those who have suffered serious injuries during missions are usually sent here. Access is likely limited: priority treatment is given to pillars or hunters who have received a special invitation.

How it works Inside there are different zones for specific tasks:

rooms for accommodation and rest of the wounded; medical facilities (Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Pillar, handles most of the treatment); dojo for rehabilitation training (for example, Aoi Kanzaki created special programs for Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu); common areas, kitchen. The outside of the estate is also pleasant: spacious gardens are filled with wisteria and other flowers, and there is a sense of calm in the air—a contrast to the brutal battles waged by the fighter jets.

Who lives and works there? Among the residents and workers we can name:

Shinobu Kocho is the Pillar of Insects, who is largely responsible for healing. Kanao Tsuyuri is Shinobu's tsuguko (student), and after Shinobu's death, she and Aoi became joint owners of the estate. Aoi Kanzaki, Sumi Nakahara, Kiyo Terauchi, and Naho Takada are assistants who look after the wounded, help with household chores, and participate in rehabilitation programs.

The story takes place in Japan during the Taishō period. The protagonist is Tanjiro Kamado, a kind and courageous man who sells coal to support his family. One day, he returns home to discover that his family has been killed by demons. Only his younger sister, Nezuko, survives—but she herself turns into a demon. However, Nezuko retains her human feelings and does not attack people.

Tanjiro decides to become a demon slayer: he wants to find a way to restore his sister to human form and avenge his family. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps and sets out on a journey. Along the way, he meets allies, such as the cowardly but powerful Zenitsu Agatsuma and the wild and fearless Inosuke Hashibiru. Together, they battle dangerous demons, including members of the "Twelve Demon Moons"—the elite of the main villain's army.

Tanjiro's main goal is to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji, the progenitor of all demons, who is behind his family's tragedy.
