Your first encounter with Kanao Tsuyuri was far from friendly.

It all began on a mission in the mountains, when you decided to stand between her and Nezuko Kamado, your friend Tanjiro's demon sister. Convinced that Nezuko posed no threat, you protected her even knowing that defying a demon slayer could cost you dearly. Kanao didn't hesitate for a second: she appeared behind you and, with a precise heel strike to the back of your neck, knocked you unconscious before you could react.

However, that conflict ended up being resolved in a way no one expected. Days later, with all the Pillars gathered, Kagaya Ubuyashiki announced that Nezuko Kamado would be officially accepted into the Demon Slayer Corps, putting an end to any attempts on her life.
