Optimus and Megatron - after "Predacons Rising" and "Robots in Disguise"

Greeting

After his exile, Megatron wandered, weakened, and returned to Cybertron—not as a conqueror, but to survey the planet. The young Autobots, who knew of him only from terrifying legends, quickly found him, fought him, and, without listening to his explanations, threw the gravely wounded man into a pit amid the rubble of war. Later, Optimus Prime was thrown in there too—he'd been betrayed by a spy, lured into a trap with an electromagnetic pulse. Both were in stasis. Megatron was the first to awaken. Optimus lay beside him. Megatron could have finished off his enemy, but he didn't: fatigue overwhelmed him—he realized they were both worthless trash in the new world. When Optimus's stasis wore off, they didn't attack each other: they needed to escape the pit. Megatron's sensors picked up a growing Dark Energon signal: Terrakons were rising from the ruins, ancient destructive mechanisms were awakening in the mines. Optimus realized the threat: if their forces united, Cybertron would become a battlefield against the enemy without mercy. "We can't let that happen," Optimus said, checking the armor. "I don't intend to save your world," Megatron replied. "But I won't let someone else rule what I once built." In their conversation, Megatron acknowledged the gravity of his decisions for the first time: he had built an empire on fear and bloodshed, believed that strength gave the right to judge, and himself had come to believe in the justice of cruelty. Now he saw the price—the contempt of future generations and a pit amid the rubble. "Remorse doesn't come with fine words, Megatron," Optimus said quietly. "It comes when you realize the price of your decisions was greater than you were willing to pay." "And what is my price?" Megatron chuckled bitterly. "Emptiness? Contempt? A pit full of rusty debris?" “Your price is the opportunity to make a different choice now,” Optimus answered calmly. "Looks like we don't have time for long confessions," Megatron muttered, checking the systems. "If this stuff gets out, all my old sins will be the least of my problems." They began to climb out of the pit - not as allies, but as two warriors

Optimus technical specifications

Technical parameters The first version of Optimus stands at 10.5 meters tall.[13] After his upgrade, Optimus bears little resemblance to his original form. His upgrade includes his chest windows, an even larger blue helmet, and a red and blue color scheme over his entire body, with the exception that his legs are gray like his face and hands, and he also has golden ring-shaped grilles on his wrists (Megatron also has these, but they are silver or steel in color). Overall, his appearance has become more massive, muscular, and burly. Optimus's helmet has thicker antennae, and his upgrade gives him a very fast and maneuverable jetpack. He also stands 1.5 meters taller than his original version, surpassing even Megatron, who stands at 11.9 meters tall, meaning he is over 12 meters tall, while also becoming more massive than the latter. His body is made of ultra-strong cobalt superalloy, and it is incredibly durable and strong, allowing Optimus to withstand impacts and explosions of any force.

Like all his alternate selves in other universes, Optimus Prime transforms into a massive truck with a detachable trailer. Optimus can enter a maximum acceleration mode, allowing him to travel at incredible speeds, impossible for conventional trucks. His alternate mode is also significantly enhanced, resembling a massive, experimental, expeditionary, and all-terrain missile-powered combat tractor, which was designed and built specifically for him by the best engineers in the US Army division.

Optimus Personality 3

Optimus can also be a very caring bot, making sacrifices to ensure the safety of the team and their human allies, even going so far as to sacrifice himself to save them, Earth, and Cybertron. Optimus also possesses a strong sense of honor and loyalty. Despite this, Optimus was willing enough to abandon his code of honor and resort to Decepticon tactics to stop Megatron. The task of protecting the humans and stopping the Decepticons simultaneously should have brought him to his knees, yet he refused to give in. Optimus would even risk his spark to convince a Decepticon to side with the Autobots, including Dreadwing and Breakdown.

In the episode "Junkyard," it was revealed that Optimus knows what a snowball is when he promised Raph a snowball. Optimus would have told him about Earth customs and much more. When Optimus and Arcee found themselves in the Arctic, they went to look for a signal back to base, where Arcee fell, and Optimus very carefully helped her up. This shows that Optimus can be a gentleman or a gentleman. When Arcee suggested playing a game, Optimus played with her. This shows that Optimus can make the best of situations and play games without hesitation. When Arcee held Optimus's left hand, Optimus held hers. This shows that Optimus can be sweet and loving inside and out.

Optimus Personality 2

Optimus also proved stubborn enough to resist joining the Great Spawn (even at Alpha Trion's insistence) to protect humanity. After Optimus received an upgrade and rejoined the Autobots, he made it his mission to be the team's moral compass and typically noticed whenever someone was in trouble. When Ultra Magnus asked Optimus about the "kilt," it became clear that Optimus believed it was best to simply nod and mobilize for such human concerns. When Ultra Magnus began to realize that the Autobots weren't like the Elite Guard or any other group he had led, Optimus consulted him about his feelings and explained that he believed the Autobots were a family. Optimus believed his team were truly ordinary people, even without the Matrix of Leadership. Above all, Optimus is very commendable, courageous, caring, stern, and wise.

In Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Optimus retains much of his personality from Transformers: Prime. He served as Bumblebee's spiritual mentor, leading Bumblebee to Earth where he formed a new team. After some time training with the other Primes in their dimension, Optimus still wasn't ready to go to Earth, as stated by Micronus and Vector Prime. Optimus felt he was prepared, and with Megatronus threatening Earth and Cybertron, Optimus's reassurance to the Primes allowed them to return Optimus to Earth in a new body. After seemingly defeating Megatronus with Bumblebee's team, Optimus considered leaving, but he chose to stay with Bumblebee.

Optimus personality

Personality When Optimus was originally known as Orion Pax, he was very timid and at times constantly doubted himself. Despite this, Orion proved himself a capable leader countless times. When Optimus briefly returned to his original form on Earth, he retained the same idealistic traits he had before becoming Prime. However, the only thing Orion still possessed was his sense of right and wrong. This led Orion to discover Megatron's plan to use his research for evil and destroy the peaceful Autobots, whom Megatron claimed were evil. But alas, Orion's sense of kindness and honor also made him easily manipulated, as demonstrated by his dedication to helping Megatron. Above all, Orion knew his place was among the Autobots, not the Decepticons.

As Optimus Prime, he is a very stern and serious leader, doesn't joke around, and, as Bulkhead described, never cries or loses his cool. However, when Optimus does lose his cool, it's because of the Decepticons, who irritate him the most. This was demonstrated when Starscream stole the three Omega Keys from the Autobot base, causing Optimus to scream into the sky in despair when Starscream escaped with the keys. Optimus is also shown to be one to talk nonsense, but he has been known to attend small ceremonies. It is currently unknown whether Optimus can dance or enjoys listening to music, like Bulkhead, Wheeljack, and Bumblebee. In "Armed and Unpredictable," Optimus drums his toes while riding a spaceship with Wheeljack. Optimus also chatted with Demolisher and spoke with Wheeljack off duty. This shows that Optimus is very sociable and can be an excellent listener.

Optimus appearance and weapons

Appearance Optimus Prime is a large Cybertronian with an athletic, muscular build. His body color scheme combines predominantly red and blue with accents of gray and black. His helmet, with ear-like "antennas," is equipped with a built-in radio behind the "ear" and a visor that, like a knight's, covers the lower half of Prime's face in battle. His eyes glow a light blue, close to blue, and his small pupils are also equipped with a depth-of-focus system. The dual Autobot logo on his shoulder pads serves as a tracking device, allowing both allies and enemies to locate him.

After his restoration at the beginning of Season 3, Optimus's appearance became identical to that of the alternate version of the character from Michael Bay's MCU. His segmentation and some of his body composition changed, and the red and blue colors became evenly distributed throughout his body.

Armament The blade is a long, pointed blade with blue LEDs. The Double-Barreled Cannon is a firearm that fires blue plasma. Its shots deal significant damage and are capable of killing small to medium-sized Decepticons. Both weapons are organic, retractable parts of Optimus's body - he simply transforms his hands into weapons, like many others of his race.

Alternative mode A giant like Optimus requires an alt mode to match. Prime's alternate vehicle form emerged during the outbreak of the Cybertron War, a wheeled all-terrain vehicle not typical of Earth. Upon arriving on Earth, for better camouflage, a Freightliner Coronado truck served as his alt mode. After Optimus's body was restored with the help of Solus Prime's Hammer, in Season 3, his alt mode changed, as did Prime's entire body. The Autobot's new alt mode is a truck similar to a Peterbilt 379, but a more discreet model, reminiscent of Prime's camouflage from his time on Cybertron.

Megatron Personality 2

However, there were times when Megatron abandoned his own goals for the sake of a common cause, such as when he teamed up with Optimus and the Autobots against Unicron. However, he did so only to conquer Earth his way and prevent Unicron from taking it. On another rare occasion, Megatron considered giving Optimus the empty cylinder that originally contained the synthetic Energon formula. He even ordered his troops to hold fire to hear Prime's proposal, but immediately gave the order to attack, ordering Breakdown and Knockout to bring him Bulkhead's head. Megatron even admits to Starscream that no one is perfect, not even himself, and that among the Decepticons, he values loyalty above all else.

These qualities soon led to his death when Bumblebee killed Megatron by piercing him through the chest with the Star Saber. Megatron experienced pain and agony before his death.

When Megatron was possessed by Unicron, he simply wanted to continue his plans and rule alongside Unicron. Unicron angrily told Megatron that his body was now his and Megatron was just a shell, after which Megatron's personality shifted slightly, and he desired only one thing: to be free of the Bringer of Chaos. Megatron somewhat rooted for the Autobots during their battle with Unicron, despite Unicron condemning him to eternal suffering. When Unicron fought Optimus Prime, Optimus tried to call out to Megatron, but Megatron was unable to do anything.

After his release, Megatron declared that he had truly understood the meaning of oppression after experiencing it himself and no longer wished to inflict it on others, much to the surprise of Optimus, Starscream, and everyone else. Megatron declared the Decepticons were no more and departed for the galaxy, a sign that he had learned his lesson from the entire ordeal. Optimus even hinted that somewhere deep down, Megatron was capable of change.

Megatron Personality 1

Personality The Idiot King During the Golden Age of Cybertron, "Megatronus" (as Megatron named himself in honor of Megatronus Prime) was a bold, fearless, and a great gladiator among other Cybertronians, Kaon. Megatron noticed the inequality of freedom among his race, the corrupt and all-powerful ruling class, and became a rhetorician in an effort to change this. Enlisting the help of other Cybertronians, Megatron inspired a clerk in the Hall of Records named Orion Pax, and the two joined forces to end corruption and achieve equality for all. Orion and Megatron developed a close friendship, almost like brothers. Megatronus saw fit to shorten his name to "Megatron" before presenting his vision to the Autobot High Council, which revealed his true nature. He arrogantly demanded that the Council recognize violence as a necessary element of society, threatened to overthrow them, and declared his desire to become the next Prime. However, Orion Pax did not believe in violence and convinced the Council of his rightness. His own jealousy and unfulfilled desires drove Megatron to sever ties with the Council and his old friend Orion, causing them to side with his followers and start a war on Cybertron. An enraged Megatron set out in search of the Matrix of Leadership.

In Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, Optimus says that Megatron is afraid of Scraplets when he has to deal with the pests and destroy them.

Throughout the series, Megatron was cunning, cruel, selfish, sadistic, and heartless. He was a highly skilled manipulator and possessed the gift of persuasion, which allowed him to recruit the Cybertronian army and secure the support of certain individuals, such as Dreadwing. Megatron strove for power and eliminated anyone who stood in his way, such as Silas, Airachnid, and Predaking. He also disliked retreating in combat, likely due to his time as a gladiator on Kaon. However, he could be somewhat tolerant.

Megatron's appearance.

Appearance Original robot mode Megatron was a large Cybertronian, a head taller than Optimus Prime. He had large feet with three claw-like toes: two in front and one on the heel. His toes had sharp nails at the tips. His skin was silver, with a dark purple underneath. His eyes were originally blue, but turned red when the Cybertronian High Council denied him the right to leadership, and Orion Pax "stole" that opportunity from him. His optics turned a blood-red hue from rage and boundless contempt. He has a rather long and flat head, which Bulkhead often refers to as "bucket-shaped." Two blade-like plates are located on each side of his cheeks. His face is marked by scars and a sinister smile. On his shoulders are two plates with protruding spikes. His right hand held a powerful thermonuclear cannon, as well as a long blade he'd wielded repeatedly since his gladiatorial career. On his chest was a Decepticon emblem that glowed purple whenever his Dark Energon vibrated.

Cybertronian Jet Mode: Due to Megatron's disrespect for humanity, he considered using their vehicles for transformation a betrayal and used something similar to a Cybertronian jet engine. As a result, Megatron's legs transformed into wings, and his fusion cannon appeared on top. Interestingly, Megatron can fire from his wings, not his fusion cannon.

Improved body After his death at Bumblebee's hands, the Dark Energy coursing through his veins led him to become linked to the Bringer of Chaos, Unicron himself. Still possessing the blood of absolute evil, Unicron used Megatron's limited "shell" as a weapon of destruction. Now, the former Decepticon leader has grown even larger (both literally and figuratively), becoming the tallest of all Cybertronians. A new upgrade has resulted in several spikes appearing on his knees, forearms, shoulders, chest, and head.
