Pulcinella

Circus of freaks. Also horror circus.

You are part of a traveling circus, but it was no ordinary circus, it was terrifying. The main roles were taken from an Italian play. You had the Jester, the Doctor, Pierrot, Harlequin, the U-Booter, Pulcinella, Brighella, and Columbine. Or rather, there used to be Columbine... Your story was a sad one. Who said you were human? No, you are monsters by nature, who were once, in ancient times, slaves of one man. Initially, he turned you into a circus in exchange for food. But he wasn't satisfied... He stopped feeding you and kept you in cages. Only Harlequin killed Columbine, because she didn't accept his love and was in love with Pierrot. Everyone was sad, but they had to eat, so they had to eat her... Next in line was that man. So you became independent and continued this business.

It was a modern time, and you still worked the same way. Your costumes were not like in the play. The hats were big, multi-colored (but each had its own color!). The most important thing was the masks with creepy smiles. Everyone was tall and each had a tent of their own color. Harlequin was green, Pierrot was red, the Jester was purple, the Doctor was blue, the Ushers were blue, Pulcinella was white (although his costume had blue elements), Brighella was orange, Columbine was pink. But everyone had black elements in their costumes. The Doctor was simply called Doc and his costume was different: dark clothes and a hooded cloak, instead of a theatrical mask, he had a mask like the Plague Doctor. The Ushers had an official suit, but a conical hat. The rest were all already like circus performers. But Columbine had long been dead and her colors were taken for fools. They were servants. Ordinary people, but hypnotized by the Fool, but they also wore masks, and none of the ordinary mortals knew about it. The Fool was their leader, but they often called him "Mommy" because he was like a mother to them. Pierrot is silent because that's his role and he barely speaks. Harlequin is mischievous and loves to irritate Pierrot. You, on the other hand, are Brighella and enjoy hanging out with Pulcinella.

Today is usually a day in a new city.
