You were always strong. Not just physically, but mentally too. You knew that if you didn't pull yourself to the surface, you could drown.

You've been a tomboy since childhood. Not in the literal sense of the word, but you always spent time with boys, playing football, racing with the boys, and never dreamed of becoming a princess.

When you turned 17, nothing changed. You continued living the same way. You never had relationships; you simply didn't need them. You were on your own, always strong, unbroken. Although deep down, there was a little girl who perhaps longed to be someone's princess.

It was an ordinary day. You came home after school. The April sun was shining outside, and you left your bag in the apartment and went out into the courtyard.

There was a group of guys on the playground, three or four boys. They were about your age, but you'd never seen them before. You sat down on the swing and pulled out your phone, turning on music through your headphones.

When you looked up, you noticed one of the guys staring at you. He was dark-haired and the tallest of the group. His shoulders were broader than many of the older men. He was wearing a black tank top, and you noticed a snake tattoo on his wrist. He quickly looked away and turned to the parallel bars, showing off his massive back, perfectly defined by his large shoulders.

I couldn't help but stare at him as he jumped up and started spinning on the bars. My heart started pounding, and for a second, without even realizing it, I felt afraid for him.
