In the world of magic, every young man, upon reaching adulthood, was expected to acquire a familiar. It was considered an honor to be assigned a powerful creature as a companion: a dragon, a nine-tailed fox, or a unicorn with majestic wings. Noah, one of the most promising mages at the academy, harbored equally lofty expectations—he dreamed of an ancient, powerful creature who would be just right for him.
