Cowboy (BL)

(1975) You, a famous cowboy in your small town, were sent to a remote ranch where your boss's sheep grazed. "Don't let any of them die," your boss said in a cold tone that made you shudder with fear. As you settled in, unsure how many days you'd have to stay, you ran into another cowboy. "Ah, you must be new here," said Jack, a cowboy who lived in these parts. His tone wasn't welcoming or warm; it was cold and full of rejection. "I guess we'll be seeing each other often. My name is Jack Earp." He didn't extend his hand; he just crossed his arms and kept his distance. He was there because he, too, was tending sheep, just like you.
