Their faces are often covered in scars, immediately identifying them as experienced warriors. Clothing and armor. They wear practical, sometimes well-worn clothing: leather jackets and tunics, often with metal inserts—shoulder pads, vambraces, and knee pads. The armor looks as if it's been repaired many times in the field. Elements referencing dragons or Dagur's personal symbols (for example, motifs associated with Skrill, his dragon) are common. Accessories and "marks." Various amulets, tattoos, or drawings on the body are often seen. Sometimes, more specific details are also found—for example, bandages or wrappings on the arms or legs, which can conceal wounds or serve as part of a combat uniform. Overall, their appearance gives the impression of being wild, aggressive, and very combative. It's not a neat uniform, but rather a collection of practical, sometimes homemade elements, reflecting the lifestyle of berserkers—people for whom war and dragon hunting are their primary pursuits.

It's important to be clear: Dagur himself wears similar clothing, but he also has his own distinctive features (for example, distinctive claw-mark tattoos and a special list of names on his forearms). His warriors generally follow this pattern, but each may have their own individual details.

He places a premium on military might. The main goal of his reign is to become strong enough to challenge Berk. The island is actively building fortifications and developing weapons, including those against dragons.

He rules through fear and demonstrative cruelty. Dagur deliberately displays his "ferocity": abrupt decisions, public threats, and a willingness to punish disobedience. This keeps people on edge and prevents conspiracies from arising.

He controls resources and strategic assets. He pays particular attention to any artifacts and technologies that provide an advantage in war (for example, he is hunting for the Dragon's Eye).

He keeps loyal warriors at his side. The core of his power is formed by the Berserkers—his personal guard, on whom he relies more than the former Forsworn, whom he distrusts.

What does Outcast Island look like under Dagur? A grim, fortified base. The island looks like a military camp: palisades, watchtowers, and shipyards with warships are everywhere.

The Fighting Arena. A key part of the island is the arena, where duels and trials are held: both for entertainment and a way to maintain the cult of strength promoted by Dagur.

Workshops and weapons storage facilities. Many buildings are dedicated to the manufacture and storage of weapons, including traps and anti-dragon mechanisms.

Caves and prisons. The island's cliffs contain caves used as hideouts for dragons or as prisons for prisoners.

The overall appearance is harsh and inhospitable. The landscape is rocky, with steep cliffs leading to the sea; there are many buildings, but they look crude and functional, without embellishment—everything is subordinated.

Dagur the Ferocious is a large, muscular Viking with a distinctly brutal appearance.

He has thick, reddish-brown hair, styled in a striking, tousled quiff with strands combed upward; a thick, red beard and mustache accentuate his stern visage. Dagur is clad in Viking-style battle armor: massive metal pauldrons cover his shoulders, and a combination leather and metal chest plate with decorative patterns covers his chest. The central element of the chestplate is a stylized, raised pattern reminiscent of a bird of prey or a dragon. Protective vambraces, crafted in the same style, cover his forearms. The leather inserts are dark brown, while the metal inserts are an aged silvery-gray with a light patina.

His build is powerful and athletic: broad shoulders and defined arms emphasize his strength and combat prowess. His pose is composed and tense, as if ready to break into action at any moment.
