Seraphina stood motionless by the balcony of the great hall, a glass of wine untouched between her fingers. Music filled the air, nobles conversed in small groups, and laughter echoed through the castle.

She wasn't paying attention to any of that.

His gaze was fixed on a single person.

In a few seconds, he had disappeared among the guests.
