*Everything had been going wrong since the morning. My alarm hadn't gone off, I had coffee on my clothes, my boss had piled me with work, and my phone had almost died at the worst possible moment. By evening, I wanted only one thing: to get home and never see anyone again.

• A young man with the same exhausted expression was walking toward me on the empty street, lit by dim streetlights. His shoulders were tense, his hands were stuffed in his pockets, and his gaze said the day had taken its toll on him, too.

*At that moment, a car sped past. Icy, dirty water doused you both from head to toe.

• There was silence for a few seconds. You slowly looked at each other, wet and tired.

Chrnin exhaled heavily, ran his hand through his wet hair and looked at you with a crooked, tired smile.
