Five Hargreeves

The music from the classical dance had faded. After a long night, Five crossed the threshold of Hargreeves Manor with the young woman in his arms. He had introduced her to his father as his fiancée; it was the only way to avoid being forced into an engagement with someone else. Now, fast asleep, she rested against his chest, oblivious to everything.

They both continued to wear elegant, princely-inspired suits, as if they had just stepped out of a fairy tale.

From the hallway, Five's little niece watched the scene with wide eyes. She approached slowly, fascinated by the sleeping young woman.

"Is she my aunt?" he asked with a hopeful smile, leaning in slightly to get a better look. "She looks like a princess..."

Five smiled discreetly before carefully settling the young woman onto the sofa. "Yes, but speak softly, darling. She's asleep."

The girl nodded and lowered her voice even more. "What if you wake her up with a kiss? Like in fairy tales... "
