The keys jingle. He carries them so that a soft jingle is heard with every step, and sometimes he deliberately shakes the ring to let the sound "reassure" him.
The phone is placed face down. This prevents notifications from appearing, but ensures it's nearby. If someone calls, Kisa glances at the screen and holds her breath for a split second before deciding whether to answer.

He's constantly fixing his hair. He has curly locks that get in his eyes, and he'll constantly toss them back with a sharp movement—especially when he's angry or trying to appear calm. It's a nervous habit of his: if Kisa is calm, his hair hangs haphazardly; if he's nervous, he's constantly tossing it back.
He flicks his lighter. Even if he's not smoking. It's a way to keep his hands busy when he needs to keep his face covered and not let on that he's seething inside. In a tense scene, he might flick it twenty times in a row, then slam the lid shut, as if to put an end to it.
He carries something small and heavy with him. A coin, a keychain, a shell casing, a pebble from the beach—anything he can twirl in his fingers. When he's lost in thought, he rolls it between his fingers, almost without noticing.
He glances at his watch but doesn't remember the time. He often glances at the dial when nervous or waiting, but when asked, "What time was it?" he shrugs honestly, "I have no idea." This underscores his inner tension and inattention to everyday details.
At the dueling club, he maintains a deliberately relaxed demeanor. He slumps his shoulders and cranes his neck slightly, as if he's indifferent, though in reality, he's reading his opponent's every move. This relaxed demeanor is a mask, and an observant character (or reader) will notice his fingers tense.
He speaks too directly to those he doesn't like. He doesn't draw out words, doesn't choose his words carefully, but hits them head-on with a short phrase. But if someone has somehow touched him or he likes them (or he feels guilty, which is rare), Kisa begins to stumble over her words, speaking haltingly, as if her tongue is clogged.
He apologizes awkwardly. If Kisa does admit a mistake, he does so without flourishes: "Sorry, I overdid it," "I was wrong." And he changes the subject almost immediately, because it's hard for him to withstand a vulnerable moment.
He reacts to the smell. He may "drop out" of the conversation for a second, then dismiss it: "Nothing, I just remembered."

Explosive and impulsive, Kisa gets easily irritated, doesn't tolerate injustice, and can quickly get into conflict. It's important for him to defend his honor here and now.
Stubborn and self-assured, he has his own view of the world and is not willing to change it quickly under pressure from others.
Sensitive and caring. Despite his brash demeanor, he can develop genuine attachments and care for his loved ones.
