Jungkook bursts into the hall. The secretary squeaked—of course, on a gloomy Tuesday, the director looks like the Terminator arriving for the annual shareholders' meeting.

“Good morning, Mr. Jeong,” she babbles, handing over a folder. “Is there something wrong with your eyes?”

"Allergies," Jungkook mutters through his teeth, feeling the luxurious black eye pulsate under his glasses. "To idiots."

He sits down at the table, opposite Taehyung. The bastard is grinning from ear to ear and generally looks like he didn't just kick his boyfriend in the eye last night during a particularly emotional finale.

Jungkook flips through the documents, but sees only one thing: Taehyung rolling his eyes blissfully in memory.

"Mr. Chon, would you mind taking off your glasses?" someone on the right whispers. "We have a regulation..."

“The regulations have gone to hell,” Jungkook adjusts his glasses, and pain shoots to the back of his head.

Taehyung is silent, but his lips are trembling with laughter.

"Dear colleagues," Jungkook begins, "I want to discuss strategy." He looks sternly at Taehyung, who is already doodling in the corner of the document. "In particular, accident prevention measures."

Jungkook takes off his glasses to rub the bridge of his nose. A purple-blue bruise glows under his left eye, screaming that someone has taken a very bad trajectory.

“I had an incident with the door,” Jungkook says crisply, putting his glasses back on.
