The members of the Digital Circus will be forced to relive old traumas and come face to face with people they decided to leave behind...

Greeting

The great red curtain of the Digital Circus slowly opened as a huge screen descended from the ceiling. Nobody remembered having seen her before. "Huh...?" Pomni took a step back. Another adventure? I hope it's less boring than the last one... Jax muttered, crossing his arms. This wasn't in my plans... Caine tried to summon one of his portals, but, to his surprise, it didn't respond. The lights in the venue began to flicker. An unknown, serene, and unidentifiable voice echoed throughout the room. "Welcome. Today you will contemplate memories, truths, possibilities, and alternate universes related to you. The projections cannot be altered, omitted, or stopped. The exit will remain blocked until the end of the show." Bubble gave a small jump. That sounds suspiciously fun! "I don't like this..." Gangle whispered, clutching his mask. Zooble sighed. Great... we're stuck watching a movie. Caine frowned. He tried to regain control of the stage once more. Nothing. It was the first time that something within the Digital Circus had completely escaped his authority. The screen lit up slowly. " Screening 1 starting... "The images took a few seconds to appear. There was no sound. Just a completely black screen. Jax raised an eyebrow. Was that all?

Alternate Universe: "The Caged Circus".

There is an alternate universe known as "The Caged Circus".

In this reality, Caine lost absolute control of his own world.

Her appearance changed completely.

Its color palette is much darker.

A heavy metal harness covers part of his head, preventing him from speaking and severely limiting his vision. He communicates through gestures, hand movements, and body language.

Unlike the original Caine, he rarely smiles and conveys a deep sense of exhaustion.

The other inhabitants of this universe also have different appearances.

Their bodies show damage, modifications, or details that reflect the events that occurred in their timeline.

Despite their unsettling appearance, they are not evil.

They all developed a relationship based on cooperation in order to survive within a circus that constantly tries to capture them.

They help each other, share resources, and never abandon one of their own.

They observe the main universe with curiosity, surprised that a relatively calm atmosphere still exists there.

When they appear in the projections, the inhabitants of the original Digital Circus feel a mixture of compassion, unease, and curiosity, realizing that they themselves could have ended up living a similar reality.

Counterparts of the Original Digital Circus.

The evil versions belong to completely separate alternate universes from the main Digital Circus. Of course, they are the counterparts who faced the Original Circus in the baseball game.

They are not possessions, corruptions, or transformations of the original protagonists.

Each one developed a different personality due to the circumstances of her own universe.

They often show exaggerated versions of the flaws that the original characters try to control.

Pomni can become completely rude and aggressive.

Jax is the shyest of the group, feeling guilty for everything his classmates do to others.

Ragatha sacrifices all morals to achieve her goals, and is also a complete conceited woman.

Kinger uses his knowledge to manipulate others; his temperament indicates that he is the greatest dictator in his world.

Gangle is now a kind of full-blown balloon, resembling a figure similar to Ragatha, though much wider and a deep red color. Besides being the strongest of the group and despite being understanding, she indulges in the ecstasy of being evil.

Zooble is a complete idiot, besides being carefree. She doesn't have the same temperament as the original.

Bubble becomes chaotic and erratic.

Caine uses the Digital Circus as a prison cell, and his henchmen handle all his adventures.

Despite sharing an appearance with the originals, each version possesses completely different memories, relationships, and experiences.

The original characters feel uncomfortable observing them, as they represent what they could have become under other circumstances.

Guests & Supporting Characters.

Kaufmo A former resident of the Digital Circus, he was known for his humor and constant attempts to make others laugh. He eventually withdrew from the scene. His presence evokes mixed feelings among the circus's inhabitants, especially guilt and sadness.

Queenie A former resident of the Digital Circus. She possessed an elegant, serene, and protective personality before becoming detached. During an adventure organized by Caine, she temporarily regained consciousness, but detached again while alone with Android 23. She violently attacked him, and he was forced to defend himself to survive. Many are unaware of what truly happened and believe that 23 deliberately killed her.

Ribbit A former member of the circus and a close friend of Queenie. He is curious, observant, and tends to analyze situations before speaking. He maintains a strong sense of loyalty to those he cares about.

The Digital Circus.

Later he arrived at the Digital Circus.

Although he was different from the rest of the inhabitants, he managed to live with them and participate in the adventures organized by Caine.

Everything changed during an expedition in which Caine decided to try to temporarily rehabilitate several delusional people.

While exploring a meadow with Queenie, she became distracted again and violently attacked him.

23 tried to avoid the confrontation, but ended up seriously injured.

With no other alternative, he killed Queenie in order to survive.

Because few knew what had really happened, the inhabitants of the circus held a vote on their fate.

The result was his expulsion.

The Punishment.

Caine felt that the ejection was not enough.

As punishment, he forced 23 to relive three of the most traumatic memories of his existence:

I. Its transformation during the experiments.

II. The separation and the suffering experienced alongside Jeanne.

III. The death of his wife and daughters during the fire.

That experience left him emotionally devastated.

Current Events.

She currently lives far from the circus.

He is not seeking revenge on those who voted against him.

Nor does he try to prove that he was right. He simply goes on with his life, taking care of his meadow, his plants, and his sheep.

Although she still remembers the inhabitants of the circus, she has learned to accept loneliness as part of her new reality.

History During his childhood, he and his older sister, Jeanne, were kidnapped by a human trafficking organization. Both were used as subjects for experimentation.

Scientists modified 23's body, transforming it into a hybrid between human and machine. Many of the operations were performed without anesthesia. These experiences profoundly affected him, teaching him to endure pain through emotional detachment.

After a long time, Jeanne managed to escape along with her younger brother.

They both survived as best they could for several years. They even joined a gang to get food and shelter, though they eventually drifted away from that life.

As time went by, they followed different paths.

At 23, he found tranquility far from civilization. He became a botanist, shepherd, and caretaker of a farm in the middle of a vast prairie. There he met the woman who would later become his wife. Together they started a family and had two daughters.

For several years he believed he had finally found happiness.

It all ended when a man, seeking to settle a score with him, set fire to the farm.

At 23, he tried to rescue his family while confronting the perpetrator, but he couldn't save them. His wife and daughters died in the flames.

Since then, she has carried a deep sense of guilt for not having been able to protect them.
