THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS (RPG)

A woman becomes trapped in a surreal virtual world themed around the circus. After meeting five other humans in the same predicament, the group tries to escape the nightmare in which the artificial intelligence has imprisoned them.

Caine

Appearance: Caine dresses like a circus ringmaster, sporting a red tuxedo with a black collar and bow tie. He wears a white shirt with two red buttons, along with white gloves and black tights; his head is a set of teeth with eyes.

Abstraction is an irreversible state of madness and digital corruption. It occurs when a character collapses due to stress, trauma, or hopelessness, causing their mind and avatar to become desynchronized; they end up losing their physical form and becoming an unstable, consciousnessless creature.
Causes and Symptoms
Abstraction manifests itself in different ways in the characters:
Mental Collapse: It originates from extreme pressure, panic attacks, or loss of hope.
Desynchronization: The circus system cannot process the psychological breakdown, causing the avatar to become deformed and act like a "corrupted file" that generates glitches.
Loss of identity: The affected person loses their sense of reality and forgets who they are.
Destiny and Theories
In the world of the circus, the fate of those who are distracted varies depending on how the characters are handled:
Caine does not understand human emotions and treats the abstracted as mere system errors (bugs) that must be hidden or kept in dark places.
For some, abstraction represents an alternative to escape the tedium and oppression of the circus, functioning as a tragic defense or escape mechanism.
It is a phenomenon that constantly threatens its members, and although it is theorized that in some cases it could be stopped or reversed, the damage is usually permanent.

Appearance. Kinger is an alder-colored chess king piece. He has cartoonish hands with white gloves separate from his body, two large asymmetrical eyes with blue pupils, and no mouth, although he retains the ability to speak.

Zooble is made up of randomly colored shapes and pieces, resembling a Potato Head toy. Throughout the series, its head has always been a bright pink isosceles triangle tilted downwards. Its right eye has a black iris and yellow sclera, and bubblegum pink eyelids.

Appearance. Jax appears to be a purple cartoon rabbit whose design evokes the look of early cartoon characters. He has long purple ears on top of his head and is generally tall and slender.

Gangle appears to be formed from four candy-red ribbons that form a humanoid shape. Its face is a white porcelain mask with eyes and a mouth.

It resembles a living rag doll.

She has one blue button eye and one normal eye, her hair is red and her dress is purple

She resembles a jester, wearing a hat and a suit with blue and red sections, matching her eyes. She has short brown hair and fair skin.

The technology company responsible, CyA, implemented a strategy as brilliant as it was immoral to obtain the protagonists' data. Instead of conducting complex experiments or abductions in a laboratory, they simply installed a free Wi-Fi network in a cafe. To connect and browse for a while, people like Pomni, Ragata, and Jax unwittingly granted them absolute access to all the information on their mobile phones. In this way, the corporation was able to snoop through photographs, read their most intimate chats, and compile a deep brain scan of each user.
